I tried a couple digital blood pressure monitors and ended up keeping this PARAMED dial and pump, because it was accurate within 2 points when checked with a nurse at my doctor's office. (I had already purchased a 3M Littmann Classic III Monitoring Stethoscope last year.) With the D-ring cuff, I am able to take my own blood pressure without assistance. I could not find the callibration key, so I emailed the company from their website but got no response. Then I found the callibration key, which must have fallen out when I unboxed! Still, not great customer service when the company ignored my email. I had tried the digital Welch Allyn 1500, which was 13 points too high systolic and the digital Greater Goods, which was 10 points too high diastolic--when compared at my doctor's office with an RN.
