WOW! These Paradox Impex hair scissors wildly exceeded all my expectations for quality. Thank you to the company and Amazon Vine for allowing me to try them. During the pandemic, I started cutting my own and my husband's hair using a pair of embroidery scissors - they were sharp and small, but not really suited to the purpose, and with their pointed tip I sometimes would nip the fingers of my opposing hand when doing the back of my head. These are proper hair-cutting scissors - they have sharp cutting edges, a blunted tip, ergonomically correct finger grips, a rubberized, smooth black exterior coating, and a weighty, balanced feel in the hand that delivers more control and precision. I ordered the 6.5" size, and I do think that the smallish finger openings might be best suited to smaller to medium-sized hands, but YMMV. I tested these on both wet and dry hair and they work brilliantly - like a hot knife through butter, as the saying goes. Overall, these offer SUPERB value for money. I am so pleased! These may be my favorite thing from Amazon Vine so far.

These are better than the store-bought kind you get from most regular grocery-type stores, like 10x better. I am sure that quality hair-cutting scissors are 100x better than this but for DIY haircuts at home, you want a good quality scissor that is very sharp, and designated for haircuts only. They are comfortable, and the extra finger grip on the end helps you hold them without losing your grip which is a must for making fewer mistakes while doing DIY haircuts at home. And if you have larger fingers, you can remove the inserts in the handle for a little more room. Or if you don't like them you can remove them at your disposal. Don't get the three-dollar pair from the store, get these. Watch some tutorials on haircuts if you haven't already, to help you with your DIY adventures.

These PARADOX IMPEX - Hair Cutting Scissors are well-made scissors. They are well-designed and sharp. They do feel a bit small in my hand and the finger holes are tight even for a normal size hand like mine.

This is a high quality pair of hair scissors. Unbelievable value at this price point (about $7 at time of order). The workmanship is excellent, very smooth finish, well designed, stylish with rounded edges making it comfortable to hold. It feels solid and even with the slim profile there is some necessary heft. And it's so sharp - good on stiff as well as soft hair - cuts clean and quick. Only thing is I wish it's a big longer - the 6.5 inch measures from tip to tip, from tip to finger holes is only 6 inches, about a half inch shorter than an old pair I have and have been wanting to replace. Still I'm super happy with the quality and price of this pair. Highly recommend!

These are amazing scissors. I've been cutting my own hair for decades (it's super long, straight, and easy to cut myself). I've used quite a few different scissors but these are the ones I've always been trying to find. I can't really describe how I know it, but I can tell that the cut is very precise and I don't have the feeling that I'm damaging my ends with them. Some scissors give me the feeling that they aren't giving me a true, straight cut, but these cut like they should. I'm very, very happy with them.

I have been cutting my boys' hair their whole life. To be honest, my skills were not great at the beginning and there are some cuts I am not proud of. However, with time, I have become more skilled at making a home haircut look good. We were in need of a new scissors, and this one is a huge step up! The blades slide smoothly. It has a nice weight to it and feels like it will last for a long time. I like the little finger prop on the outside to provide increased control. These are definitely nice scissors!
