This is the alternative to the original (I miss the co-wash too). It clean my hair with minimal tangle without conditioner! I have very curly hair so tangles are normal so I was pleasantly surprised 😲 with the results. Not everyone may have this experience. I wash my hair roots to ends , not bunched up on the top of my head, while gently running my fingers through my hair. NOTE: THIS REVIEW RELATES ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL CLARIFYING SHAMPOO. Pantene has changed the formulation and renamed this shampoo Moisturizing. The new shampoo is TERRIBLE for cleaning hair...left my daughter's hair oily and limp. The original shampoo, Clarifying, was the best shampoo EVER! I just hung up with Pantene's customer service and the Clarifying shampoo will no longer be available!! I've been trying to find the original formula for weeks without success. I've actually purchased two bottles from two different Amazon sellers (as well as a couple of outside websites), and in both cases received the new formulation. I needed a clarifying shampoo for my fine hair. I have to use a lot of conditioner on it to keep it from being fly away. And every 10 days or so I'm going to use a clarifying shampoo so I can start from ground zero. it seemed to work great and a good price too.

This shampoo does a fantastic job of removing chlorine from my hair after my morning swim. I was using an expensive salon brand but decided to give this a try because it was cheaper. I have been unable to find this locally so I buy it from Amazon.

I love the Salon Smell to this shampoo! Over the years I've used many shampoo's and conditioners but with this one you can tell that your scalp feels EXTRA CLEAN and it doesn't over dry!
