I bought this over the summer and I started on the project in mid October. My first thought of course, was "man, an entire shed in these three boxes"? ( think it was three). I first build the base out of treated 1/2" plywood and treated 2 X 4s so it is up a few inches off the ground. I did my very best to keep things level and true during the initial steps for sure. I got bit in the tail later on even though corner-to-corner dims were spot-on (both at the floor and further up. That is okay, it all worked out. Firstly, I did not have the luxury of help. Or I would have had to wait and I did not want to wait because the weather was good and I knew that would not last. Only because the basement fridge that had recently pooped-out was available, did I manage this job alone. The only help I got was having my wife hold the tape measure when I measured before I started to install roof panels. As the pics will show, the fridge was a wonderful corner anchor/brace. (I also have plenty of step ladders and tons of bungees) Even the slightest breeze is an issue because this material is thin. I did get one "no big deal, you can't see it now" cringe in one of the gable end assemblies. Otherwise I dealt with the breezes and on a couple days when the fall winds were strong, I found things do other than handle the thin tin. I used my 8' step ladder as a jib crane to install the door end gable sections. Pros: - All the pieces were there and some extra hardware was there at the the end. (no, it's not because I forgot an entire wall...lol...it was just...extra screws that they include, and I am talking quite a few extra). - The finished product looks pretty good. - There is plenty of headroom. I am only 5"7" but some of the other sheds were super short...especially the entry ways. This one is great in that regard. Cons: - This is light material and it is easy to bend a piece with one wrong move - The water ingress test was a big fat failure. (A) A: I decided not to try to seal anything but just see how it held up. Luckily, a day or two after I was pretty much done, it rained. It was a light steady rain but the floor was wet in a few spots inside. So, I used my trusted Lexel down at the junction of the floor and the base of the shed. More rain and more leakage. The next step was sealing the geometry that does a zig, zag at the base where the wall panels attach. Anyway, I could tell it had wicked up the metal base so I just sealed it. I also sealed every single wall overlap as well as the windows. The window assemblies are made to drain but even the one that was more even and true did not. I sealed them. Modifications/Changes: As soon as I saw the roof channel pieces (I don't have the booklet in front of me) that attach to the eave end, I thought..."hmmmm, this will catch the pods and leaves off my honey locust tree...but I installed them because they not only cover the sharp and exposed roof tin but hide the irregular aspect that I ended up with. However I removed them in a few weeks knowing they were a bad idea. Even if you don't have any trees nearby, if you ever get snow they won't allow the snow/ice to slip off like you want. They don't belong in the kit even though they do add a bit to the stability. By the time I got to the halfway point of installing roof panels, the holes were starting to need adjustment. This was not a huge deal on one hand. But I felt that at the very end it would be a bigger deal. Jumping ahead to the install of the doors, the gap between the doors was too big for comfort. So I bought a door threshold sweep from Menards and used my dremel to cut two sections to attach to the right door so it covers the gap. I also bought a roll of aluminum flashing from Menards to fashion a awning/overhang to protect as much of the door openings as possible. The flashing was cheap and light. The lightweight aspect is great because this building is light so attaching anything to it is noticeable. Anyway, it worked out well. (Oh, I just now recalled that my first hint of an alignment issue was when I top angle pieces that run from front to back would not line up perfectly. One both sides I temporarily use small C clamps to secure them and when I got that that point during the roof panel assembly, I l screwed them as they were intended even if they were a bit off. At some point you can't do much because you've assembled so much. You just live with it and know you will handle it later. It is only a cheap little garden shed after all. First snow: I broomed off the roof because it was a wet snow and I cleaned off the awning. Inside: I added shelves and a GFCI outlet. The shelf supports attach to and rest on the base on the lower end and I removed roof screws and replaced with inch long all-purpose decking style screws to hold the upper end in place. There is very little load on the walls. I had bought some 1?2" rebar for garden project staking. I did was not okay with the thin base/threshold area so I cut of piece of rebar that perfectly filled on section of the base and I ripped some treated lumber to fill the other area so now it is super solid to step on. My rating is a 4 because it's pretty darned good for what it is but I truly had to make modifications to make it "real good". Granted, that's my style...I adjust and modify. Although I DO recommend this product I also recommend being prepared to do some extra work depending on your situation.

For the price you pay you can’t expect much. Built it last weekend than the following weekend we got 10mph winds and the food is pilling back. The sheet metal is paper thin, the screws pull though it with little pressure.
