It's not tons of the big blocks but I just needed it for a small activity box for a younger child to use in dr offices or in quiet places. And it was just enough to make a few simple patterns and a few small shapes. Lots of "one" blocks but I didn't mind that. Great price, and definitely the correct amount of blocks. Bought these for the 100th day of school and needed 100 for each kid. However, don't let the pretty colors on the box fool you. Most of the blocks were yellow and red. Only 8 pink in each box and no purple, grey, brown, dark pink or light blue at all. ... show more

    • Works Great with LEGO Brand!!!
I love legos and so does my middle daughter. My nephew has recently asked for some legos for his birthday so I decided to try another brand that is compatible with the LEGO brand so that he can have more to play with. First off, I love that there are more colors than the basic color wheel colors, so you don't have to buy different LEGO theme and spent that much more money, but my daughter grabbed some of her legos from LEGO brand and these fit just right. Not too tight and not too loose. I will say you can tell the difference in material or maybe thickness of the blocks, so we haven't tested them with stepping on them when they are scattered everywhere yet, but from our initial review and handling them, they should hold up well!     • Lots of single bricks. Sharper edges.
Most of the pieces included here are just a single brick. I also got a pretty nasty cut on my thumb from just pulling them apart. The edges of them a pretty sharp. But if you're not worried about brand or handing them off to a kid, these might be a good option for you. I used these to make a mold barrier for when I was casting a gem. These blocks are just as good as the name brand ones. The only negative thing was it comes in a flimsy box that was dented so it wasn't great to give as a gift.
