The disk are thin which is what I needed to cut 1/4 inch and 1/8 inch sheet steel. To my surprise, the disk lasted if I took small cuts at one pass. This resulted in extra time, but the disk lasted, even though my cuts to two feet long. Do not try to use them like a grinding disk, for they will fly apart. ... show more

I have a heavy duty DeWalt grinder that is a torque monster and will grind virtually anything the discs are big enough for. These discs have lasted well for me - the 25 pack will last me a long time as I don't grind metal daily or even weekly. But in the past I've done a lot of machining and welding - these hold up to the more expensive brand name ones. I'm satisfied they're just as good for the money. My guess is there are a limited number of factories in the world that make these, just slap a different label on them and there ya go. ... show more
