PANDAFLY Detail Paint Brushes Set, 15pcs Miniature Brushes for Fine Detailing & Art Painting These are very well made. The Nylon is soft and snaps back after bent and didn't shed. I like the handle shape because it makes it very comfortable to hold for long periods of fine detail painting. The sizes and shapes of each brush lend themselves to intricate work on detailed paintings or on miniatures and models. I have used other items from this brand and they have exceeded my expectations. This pack of detail brushes contains 15 pieces. I was initially concerned as the outside design was a bit all over the place (face paint? miniatures? Though, I suppose brushes are brushes.) I ordered them to use on miniatures, and I have found that these tiny nylon tips are a great help for small, detailed work. They are an affordable option, and offer a good variety of options, particularly for someone who is a new painter. The nicest thing about these brushes is the ergonomic hold. I haven't actually used paintbrushes with this feature, and it did alleviate some of the hand fatigue I get while painting. (I do have crochet hooks and would NEVER go back to non-ergonomic handles-never considered paintbrushes, hah!) Another benefit is that they're relatively easy to clean. These paint brushes are absolutely phenomenal. I am definitely partial to the one with the bend as I find it to be very ergonomical and comfortable to paint with. The others are as well given the triangular grip, I'm just partial to the angled one at the moment. The other brushes however, are also superior. The very fine tip brushes help to create fine line detail with ease. I've yet to see a single strand come loose from any brush which, in my experience has been rare. The brushes are also resistant to fraying. I expect that I will be using these brushes for quite some time and plan on ordering more when I need new ones. ... show more

I love these brushes! I actually have both the 15 brush set and the 12 brush set, so this review is for both. I've wanted a set of detail brushes for a while now, but I always chicken out because it seems like you get too many brushes for too cheap, but these are excellent! The bristles are soft and hold water and paint very well. (Make sure you rinse them off before the first time you use them, to get out the stuff they put in to make them hold their shape during packaging.) They're really comfortable to hold. I don't hold anything like you're supposed to, including these brushes, but I found that the triangular part still made them easier to grasp. And it's fairly rounded and smooth - no stark edges. I tested out a bunch of different types of these with watercolor. The paint I used was Marie's, and the book I was painting in is Woodland Watercolor, which has lots of little details that I normally find difficult with my larger brushes. But these worked perfectly for it and were just really enjoyable to use! ... show more

I've used micro paint brushes for years, painting miniatures. As I've got older it's become more uncomfortable to hold standard thin paintbrush handles, my hands end up cramping after awhile. I don't paint often anymore because of it. However my son has taken up the hobby, printing his own figures on a couple 3D printers. He tried these out before I got hold of them and told me he thought I would really like them. And he was so right! The ergonomic triangular grip is an amazing game changer for me. I did a little painting and did not have any issues with my hands getting stiff or cramping. He said he especially likes the angled brush as it made it easier to get into tiny open areas on some of the figures.
