  • Absolute Titan of a camera
Style: w/ 20-60mm Set: Base
So I bought this for myself as a birthday present and man I have not been disappointed I absolutely love this thing, I I've been doing professional photography for about 10 years now and I upgraded from my Canon MK3 to this and it's fantastic, high resolution, amazing features, it's incredibly fast, video quality and choosing a raw still from a video to use as a photo comes out crisp! 10/10 buy this ... show more

  • My first camera and I love everything about it
Style: w/ 20-60mm Set: Base
This camera came heavily recommended by so many people and I have to say im very happy with it. While I have no way to compare to other cameras in this price range I haven't found myself wanting more that this camera doesnt offer. It has great video features and takes beautiful photos.. Im not even good and getting good quality pictures. Camera stabilization features are very good and everything from the construction and feel of the camera is quality. Theres are lot to love but I do have a few problems that i havent quite figured out how to address. -I have made a lot of configurations but I just cant get them to get saved. I have to constantly load my settings every time I turn on the camera and its really nuisance. Luckily the menu always stays on load when its prompt. -The camera gives features to lock all functions but only when recording.. would be nice if you could do it while photographing. Not sure how to do it if it isnt the case. I read the whole guide and didnt find anything on how to address this issue. ... show more

  • At LAST….
Style: w/ 20-60mm Set: Base
This camera meets every expectation that I possibly could have had. The build quality and robustness of the menu system is astounding. I had touched a few SONY and CANON cameras the other day in Best Buy and this just is a cut above. I already added a few accessories until my cage arrives but I’m more than happy with the camera. The L-Mount system is full of lens options and then there are lens adapters to use other brands. I grabbed the EF-L mount adapter to accompany the S5. The IBIS is amazing as usual for Lumix cameras and the image quality of the 20-60 kit lens is great. The dual SD card slots is also a great addition and I was already used to that on my G9. I am also surprised that it’s slightly smaller yet slightly THICKER than the G9. I look forward to creating quality content with this bad boy. ... show more

  • Features that really makes a difference.
Style: w/ 20-60mm Set: Base
I was a Fujifilm user for years so at the beginning I was a little skeptical about changing to Panasonic. However, I can tell you that I couldn’t be happier with my choice. This Lumix has everything I need as a professional photographer to really take my content to a new level, the learning curve was smooth and fast and all the menus and controls are very intuitive. The quality of the camera is undeniable, you can feel while handling and I’m really impressed with the image stabilization even handheld. The built in fan allows me to record videos as long as I want and in general terms this camera is really fantastic! Worth the price totally. ... show more

Excellent Camera, takes great photo and video. All the buttons and dials are in perfect position.

  • Good for the price, 5 star but
Style: w/ 20-60mm Set: Base
So many pros: The colors are beautiful and accurate like no others Easy menu interface and intuitive High-quality build Small but perfect with the grip Built-in quality good lens quality dedicated, not many but enough The best price for the level, you can do pro works Professional for the price but it has some cons: The battery doesn't last and you will need the battery grip to add one more. Even with the battery, it will have a poor life. don't worry all cameras at this level have the same issue maybe 20% more life. The square form design makes it a little hard to handle for many hours and will make it scratch easily in corners. Caps are rubber-frail High ISO pictures are unusable from 51000 and up, or you will need to spend much more on pro lenses to get pro jobs at low lights. f -.8 or less. No high-quality zoom lenses from 200 mm and up Less screen and visor resolution than some dated Panasonic cameras. No 24-105mm f2.8 lens like competitors have. I love it instead it is not perfect. ... show more

  • A Bit big
Style: Body Only Set: Base
Almost perfect if you don't mind the large size, excellent ISO and video performance, although I'm 95%+ stills photographer, so that's not very relevant for me. The size is also substantial and the resolution 24 megapixels is neither low nor high, so I switched to Fujifilm x-t5 with it's 40 megapixel (I use prime lenses instead of the excellent 24-105 Panasonic zoom) aps-c and I love it! This camera also would be great with prime lenses like the Sigma Art (only available for full frame cameras like this Panasonic and others), they cost about the same price as Fuji's premium f 1.4, but they weigh more so all together the full frame system weighs much more, isn't any cheaper and isn't high resolution, and like Fujifilm also doesn't have shutter flaps that close to protect the sensor when off, but at least the food you feel has ultrasonic sensor cleaning when you turn off the camera. While this camera will work perfectly for some people for a still photographer like myself it is not the best option even though it cost less than the competition, but its weight and it falls short of perfect for a stills photographer because of its focus on video, basically. ... show more

  • Value for money
Style: w/ 20-60mm and 50mm Set: Base
Excellent camera with many features.. could use an even smaller body. Picture quality is good. Need to have some skills to use. High resolution videos needs rather strong computer setup to process.
