    • Excellent cordless phone system for anyone with a landline and a cell phone in their home
This replaced an older Uniden 2 line phone as I have gone back to just a single line in the home and wanted wireless connectivity to my cell as a second line now. Phone system works great with my Samsung Galaxy S5 cell phone. It provides audible notification when a text comes in or a call is received on the cell along with full talking caller ID for both the cell and land line. The system works excellent. Was very surprised by the range. I have a large two level home and the base is in my office on the lower basement level and it connects even when my cell is charging or sitting nearly anywhere on the main level. Range is obviously going to be different for everyone depending on home construction amount of interference you have, but I was certain I would have to take it to my office each time but do not have to do that. The phone has an incredible number of functions so it took a few days to get it setup exactly the way I wanted it. Take your time, read the manual completely and this phone will do just about anything anyone could ever need it to do. It provides voice notification for nearly everything and with the number of texts and calls I get I had to turn some of these functions off to avoid the cordless phones being too chatty. As others state if you only purchase this phone for the call blocking function its worth it. Sure wish my older 2 line had this as 90% of the calls coming in on my land lines were unsolicited garbage even though I made sure both were on "the do not call list." So simple to use as you can manually enter numbers or when a bogus call comes in just hit the dedicated call block button and enjoy your privacy. I also use the call reject function to ignore anyone calling with a blocked or unidentified number. If you don't want me to know your number I have no interest in talking to you. This system is excellent and I give it 5 stars. The refurbished unit with 6 cordless handsets is simply a bargain. Great job Panasonic for thinking out of the box with this design. ... show more

    • Best Wireless Phone System For Small Office Home Office (SOHO) & Private Use.
This is my 3rd Generation of Panasonic Wireless Phone Systems. They have all worked FLAWLESSLY. Now this particular set has the desired "Cell Link" which BluTooth connects our cell phones (2 lines) to the phone automatically when we get within 100 feet. I use one charger/handset combo in a detached shed that is 500 ft. from the base unit and I have crystal clear reception with it. We do not use a land line and the cell phone connect on the previous set and this has been perfect for the last 9 years. On this set the tone and volume is perfect (I have a hearing loss and it is a great phone) and it has a built in intercom feature that lets you talk to any other handset, and each handset has a 'speakerphone' that has excellent volume and clarity. Each handset can also accept a headset to it for private hands free use. I have tried several other brands and the Panasonic has the Best Sound, Features and Distance from base unit operation. Initial Set-Up was slightly laborious as I had to enter as 'contacts' all the people that I knew I wanted to allow to call the 'land-line' phone so they would not be blocked. After that, it has been great! It blocks four to six tele-market calls per day usually. The wonderful thing is that it intercepts unknown callers and the phone does not even ring! On occasion a telemarketer has gotten through and I suppose the techno-war with these vultures will continue and more will do the same, until then, I'm stopping most of them. A few times a desired caller has had to go through the drill to get their call connected and I was most apologetic to them and put them on the 'Safe' list. Other than that, love it. ... show more

So far.. these phones are exactly what I need. There are enough for all the rooms I need one in. Ive yet to set up time and date. But. They are perfect.. refurbished but sold the same as new. Im fine with that. I only wish they had instructions on how to set up siad time and date .. I’ll get it.

I replaced a similar Panasonic cordless phone system with this one. BEST DECISION EVER! For all those reviews that complained about phones not being registered, I say, "READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!" I had one phone that didn't work, read the instructions, and had it working in 2 minutes. Easy-peasy! I have the units spread between 3 floors and they all work flawlessly. When I got the system, the power cord to the answering machine was missing. I contacted the seller, and they shipped one out and I had it within 3 days. No questions, no problem. I LOVE this phone system. It even has the ability to link my cell phone into the system. I don't carry my cell around with me at home. This way, no more missed calls! Did I mention the phone system will store 3,000 numbers in the address book. 3,000!! If I had a complaint, it would be having to re-enter stuff from my previous system. Too bad Panasonic doesn't have some way to transfer your phone book and blocked calls from one system to the next. Oh well, are you listening Panasonic? Oh, and it will block like 300 numbers.
