I’ve never really understood the appeal of giant countertop microwaves unless you’re trying to defrost a whole turkey or something. Counter space disappears fast, and I’d rather have a microwave that handles normal everyday use without taking over half the kitchen. This Panasonic 0.9 cu. ft. model hits a really nice size for that. The footprint is compact enough that it works well if you have limited countertop space, but the inside is still large enough for a big plate of food. The 11.3-inch turntable gives you enough room for leftovers, meal prep containers, and normal dinner plates without feeling cramped. Functionality is solid too. The 900W power is enough for quick reheating, and the 10 power levels give you more control when you don’t want to just blast everything at full power. The sensor cook and reheat options are also useful because they take some of the guesswork out of warming up leftovers without drying them out or leaving random cold spots. The controls are clear, the interior light makes it easy to see what’s going on inside, and the child lock is a nice safety feature if you have kids around. The auto defrost and keep warm functions are nice to have as well. I especially like the keep warm option if you’re timing multiple dishes or someone in the house is running a little late to eat. The black stainless finish also looks clean and more modern than the basic glossy black microwaves you usually see. It blends in nicely without looking cheap. Stability is good on the countertop too. The feet sit evenly and I didn’t notice any wobbling or sliding around during normal use, which sounds minor until you’ve used a cheaper microwave that shifts every time you press a button. Overall, this is a great compact microwave if you want something space-saving but still large enough for real everyday use. I think the value is strong given the size, sensor cooking, stable build, and Panasonic’s overall reputation for kitchen appliances.

The Panasonic Countertop Microwave Oven is a solid purchase. The microwave oven is compact and has 900W power. It's small but it functions very well. It has 7 preset auto cook functions, with 10 power modes and auto defrost. My favorite feature is the keep warm which automatically activates when the cooking is complete. It keeps the food warm until you are ready to use it. This microwave has a solid, sturdy and durable build. It uses smart technology for the sensor cook and reheat and automatically adjust the time and power for some of most popular foods. The microwave is relatively quiet. Did I mention it has a child proof locking mechanism to keep children from opening? It does... which is great for inquisitive kids. When compared to other microwaves of this size and power the pricing is similar but what sets this a part for me is many do not have the keep warm feature. The price is certainly fair for this microwave. I saw some that were less and some that were higher so I'd say, the price is justified and lands somewhere in the middle. Another thing is Panasonic is a well known brand so to me reliability, durability and reputation is established for being a good quality product. Very happy with this purchase.

This microwave has been a great addition to my shop. I mainly use it for heating up my lunch, warming milk for my coffee, and of course the occasional bag of popcorn. The dedicated popcorn button actually works really well with a full-size bag. The 30 second quick start button gets used constantly. I like to warm my milk before adding it to coffee so I don't cool the whole cup of coffee down and one tap is usually all it takes. Simple and convenient. I don't do much actual cooking in the microwave but it has plenty of options if you do. Features like Sensor Cook, Sensor Reheat, Auto Defrost, multiple power levels, and the Keep Warm function give it a lot more versatility than I personally need day to day. Size wise: It's a nice middle ground. It doesn't take up a ton of counter space which I like and the black stainless looks simple and clean. Heating has been even and consistent, the controls are user friendly, and everything I've put in it has come out exactly as I expected. For the price I think this is a great value. It looks nice, performs well, and handles everyday microwave duties without any fuss.

The very first microwave in our household when I was a kid was a Panasonic, and it still worked forty years later when I shut down my parents’ house when they couldn’t live there anymore. So to me a Panasonic microwave represents extreme quality. The original one was a beast— heavy and huge. This, in contrast, is petite and quite light. It’s packaged brilliantly for safe arrival, and showed up in perfect condition. It’s replacing a small microwave we have in our theater room which is primarily used for popcorn, and occasionally overflow from the kitchen. Its turntable holds a dinner plate comfortably for reheating, which is nice— my kitchen drawer-style microwaves don’t have turntables, so sometimes there are hot/cold spots in a plateful of food. This may be the preferred method to reheat dinner plates from now on. I also really like the black stainless steel— it’s understated and sleek, which is perfect for us in the theater room closet; the microwave sits on top of a black metal storage cabinet and the whole thing now disappears visually, which is perfect. We’re happy.

I picked this microwave up for work as our current microwave was about to call it quits. This little microwave is perfect, simple, easy to use and straightforward. It's compact in size and first nicely. It was packed nicely and setup took about a minute -- just enough time to pull the decals off the door. That being said, pay attention to the decal on the door as newer microwaves now have to have a child door lock. The decal on the front of the unit describes the process to use and disable, if need be, the door lock. The microwave has the standard features you would expect like defrost functions, and as what feels like a mandatory feature now, the inevitable popcorn button. Although the stated power is 900W, I didn't have to modify the directions for cooking to compensate for being less than 1100 watts. We put it through the most important test: The microwavable frozen burrito. It passed.

This is the perfect countertop microwave! I love that the footprint is small, so it's perfect for small spaces like breakrooms, college dorms and apartments. I was able to immediately get this working right out of the box. It's easy to use, the buttons are clearly marked so you can get going without a learning curve. This has a few new to me functions making it a way more advanced microwave. There are 3 options for popping popcorn, a child safety lock and autocook options making it a useful tool for the kitchen. This is a little heavy but it's a solid microwave with stainless steel so that is to be expected. This means that it won't easily breakdown as microwaves made of plastic. It's easy to wipe clean with the microwave plate being small enough to fit into a dishwasher. This is a really nice, solid microwave that will be able to withstand consistent use and should last for many years.

Our old microwave was starting to act up so I was excited to replace it with this one. It’s a good size for our kitchen and doesn’t take over the whole counter. I’ve been using it for leftovers, frozen vegetables, melting butter for baking, reheating coffee, all the usual stuff. The buttons are easy to understand and I didn’t have to spend a bunch of time reading the manual before using it. Food heats evenly and I haven’t run into any weird cold spots yet. I have a toddler so I definitely like having the child lock. The finish looks nice and has been easy to wipe clean when little fingerprints show up. There are definitely cheaper microwaves out there, but Panasonic is a brand I’ve had good luck with and this one feels nicer than basic/cheap microwaves. It has some special features like sensor cooking, multiple power levels, and the child lock, so I feel like it’s a good value.

I’m really happy with this microwave. For a 0.9 cu. ft. unit, it doesn't take up too much counter space but still has plenty of power at 900W. The sensor cook and reheat functions work perfectly no more guessing times or ending up with frozen centers. The black stainless steel finish looks very modern and doesn't show fingerprints easily.In terms of everyday ease of use, the control panel is incredibly intuitive and straightforward forward to navigate. The door functionality is great too it opens smoothly without pulling the whole microwave forward on the counter and latches securely without being loud or clunky. For the price and the solid features you get, it offers excellent value for money. Highly recommend if you need a reliable, mid-sized microwave!
