everything was easy except giving my own voice message. Luckily I did it in the morning to set the time of day as I couldn't figure` out how to make it PM. It's the reason I gave it a 4. I wiuld have liked to leave my own message but not worth the time to call on Eastern standard time.

It was easy to set up, it's easy to block calls, large display on the base phone, large buttons, easy to read the handset display. The receiver volume is a little low at it's highest setting, but still manageable. It rings loud. The battery life on the handsets doesn't seem to be very long but I just keep it plugged in. Needed a corded/cordless phone system for use for everyday cordless use but also needed a corded phone for power outages like the previous Panasonic Corded/Cordless Phone that worked for me for years and finally malfunctioned. This phone is useless when electricity goes out. Sent back.
