...this carport is well designed, well engineered, fits together perfectly and is very sturdy. The kit also supplies extra bolts and screws, and the instructions are clear and simple. I live in the mountains and our parking space is gravel and slightly uneven, but we poured 20" x 20" formed concrete footers measured to be level without a problem. NOTICE: you need to have a fairly strong second person to help lift and secure the legs to the frame... do not try and do it yourself. The kit was delivered (250 lbs. heavy!) well packaged.... no damaged parts. The finished carport is styled clean and contemporary... perfect for our newly acquired Crosstrek. Almost all the holes aligned perfectly. Looks great. The assembly was straightforward except for two things: 1) three of the eight curved roof beams needed a few degrees of torquing to be able to align holes on the other side. I had to use two blocks of wood and a pipe wrench to do this (see photo). 2) the black plastic trim that goes in the slot along the to to cover the bolts was VERY hard to get in. It would not slide in the slot...I tried soapy water and silicone lubricant, and pulled with vise-grips. In the end I had to bend (bow) it outward with a lot of finger force and get it to snap in about an inch at a time, without sliding ... show more

It took me 2 days to assemble this thing come to find out that it is extremely wobbly and unstable. The slightest wind makes the entire structure shake back and forth causes creaking sounds. It cost over $2000 and I have a $500 shelterlogic canopy that shakes less than this thing. If I knew this beforehand I would not have purchased this. ... show more

Wanted shade from AZ sun for my wife's Jeep. I don't write many reviews but the quality of this product demanded one. Received the carton yesterday morning and began assembly. Quality parts make for easy assembly. Didn't need help until it came time to install the legs. You will need someone to stand on a ladder and hold one end of the unit up high enough to attach two legs and then the same at the other end. After that part was complete I was able to finish the rest by myself. Well designed, good quality materials. I highly recommend this carport for anyone that wants a functional, sturdy and good looking structure. ... show more

The quality of the product seems to be good. Instructions were a bit challenging to follow at some points as they are only images and no written. Instruction. I removed a star because two of the roofing panels (plastic) were punctured. Despite the handle with care orange sticker on the box, the delivery company (UPS freight) really man-handled the box putting several holes into it, one of which damaged the two panels. I have submitted a claim requesting replacements so we shall see how that goes. In the meantime I have had to duct tape the holes. Overall I like the canopy. It could stand to be a little bit longer, it is just long enough to cover my car (Hyundai Ioniq 5). Other than the damaged roof, my only complaint would be the cost. After getting the product and getting fully assembled, I think the cost is way too much. We shall see if it holds up in the weather. UPDATE 6/7/2022 - Using the contact information provided with the shipment, I had reported the two damaged roof panels, provided a copy of my invoice and photos of the damage. Yesterday I received replacement panels and am satisfied with the service I received. ... show more

This carport, though a bit more expensive than other brands, is a great value. Assembly is straight forward and logically written. The feature that made me purchase it is the styling- it just looks great. The only downfall I can determine is the cheap screws and bolts.Caution: the bolts and screws look alright, but do yourself a favor- don't trust them. My screw gun snaps them off with little effort creating problems. I am sure this company out-sources the hardware because it does not match the quality of the rest of the carport. A screw broke off while beginning to assembling it. I read another review stating the same, so I was not surprised, but frustrated. . A trip to Home Depot solved the issue. ... show more

This is a very well designed kit, surprisingly easy to assemble. The carport is steel with translucent corrugated plastic panels. The parts fit together very well and were all there. There are no verbal instructions, at least none in English. However, the diagrams show how the parts and hardware fit together, identified by number. All the parts and bags of hardware are labeled by number. It is important to assemble carefully one page at a time. Very nice looking Car Port. ... show more

Directions say to get help with assembly. But I did it all alone. Took 6 hours to get it all together. I can open and close my convertible top under it with plenty of clearance. I do suggest to get with local govt to see if it's legal to set up in your area. I did not think of that and I paid a lot of money in fees to get it approved after the fact. But it's a good strong unit. It stood up to snow on top over the winter. I got it when the price dipped down to $1200 so I'm real pleased with the value. ... show more
