I enjoy these glow sticks very much, and the fans do as well. But I find I have to buy a new set every time the batteries die. I've tried replacing them, but the tiny screws that need to be removed are ridiculously unnecessary and tiny for an older person's eyes, and then when they are removed, the sticks are clear plastic, so re-lining up the screw holes, for an older guy's eyes, is completely impossible to do...so instead of replacement batteries, I have to re buy the entire pair of sticks. Otherwise, I recommend these as part of fun entertainment, especially if you do drum tricks while playing. the glowing sticks are a fan fsave.

Overall I thought these drumsticks were pretty good in terms of their color. However, they don't turn on every time you hit it. I use these for teaching rhythms with my kids in piano lessons because it's fun and engaging, but it is disappointing that it takes 3 or more hits to actually get the color started, and it's not always consistent either.

Bought for my daughter who plays drums. Absolutely loves them! Are a little heavy than the traditional wooden drumsticks she’s use to but the effects and color changes are great! Very happy!

i'm a longtime drummer and i bought these as a gift for my nephew who turned 10 & who's been taking drum lessons for over a year. this year, he received a lot of toys as usual, big and small. i thought maybe these drumsticks wouldn't compare to the video games and bigger, more expensive gifts. i'm so glad i was wrong. after opening them he almost immediately pulled out his drum pad and started drumming away. i also got a chance to try the sticks. as others have mentioned, the material has a different feel. depending on your level of technique and ability, you may or may not be able to reproduce what you can do with a traditional wood stick...but is it worth buying? absolutely! the lights may seem like a gimmick, but i have to say that it's so much fun to watch as i played and also watching my nephew play. i'm seriously considering getting some for myself to take live performances up a notch.

The drum sticks are a bit bigger than regular 1s and i got them for 11 yr old but he was able to use them and they look really awesome. Id highly recommend this for any drummer wanting a light show

Never realized how long they are but I have tiny hands and am just starting out. It's a stress reliever for me to listen to music and just beat on things around the house always has been. Love the lights. Well made.

These are actually a great quality. My son is in middle school band and is percussion. We ordered these for a glow pep rally. They went over really well and everyone loved them. He did say they are very heavy to use for snare though.

gave this to my finance for xmas hes a drummer and has a electric kit at home with lights that make the kit glow, so got him these as a extra gift he loved it was playing with them yesterday in the dark and was having the time of his life, he said they have weight and feel good. have a bounce to them. havent tried them on his real drums. but definitely worth the bucks.
