I got this and If I'm being honest I'll say some of the holes or the sticks aren't the same size, some of them go in easily and others are very difficult to get into a hole. I'm sure with time the holes will expand and it will be easier to get them into the holes. If you use all of the sticks there is little room for painting, at least in my case. I'm painting bumpers and grills for cars, I sometimes attach bits of the sprue with the rims still in place onto the sticks. It does function well though and I don't worry about the sticks falling out. The rubber tips on the clamps once painted take forever for the paint to dry, it seems to always be sticky after they're painted. I've found a hot glue gun and a popsicle stick are good for attaching parts like bumpers and grills you've cut off of the sprue in order to get rid of the chrome from the parts. The space where the piece is attached won't show not being painted as I attach the back to the popsicle stick. I'm using rattle cans to paint parts I'm going to paint with chrome paint, I think maybe more than one of these stands at a time would come in handy if you do lots of parts at one time. ... show more

So for the most it does what it's suppose to but you could get 100 food sticks and aligator clips and a foam block for about the same price as this. On top of that some of the sticks don't fit in some of the holes. Over all build your own and save the money.
