TLDR; 9/10 Ergonomics for long duration (30 min): 10/10 Hand grips it easy enough and my body didn’t get tired from using it for 10-20 minutes, 30 minutes on my longest days. Handling and dials and locking mechanisms are all in very logical positions. Ease of use: 10/10 Instructions for the most part made sense. Paint sprays gently when you squeeze the trigger gently. And it gushes out like a firehose when you squeeze the trigger. All of the mechanisms just make sense. Flow control and pressure control are easy to learn. Spray nozzles form and function: 8/10 I’m able to reach most places and angles mainly due to the straw in the canister. The straw in the canister can have their angle change, so sometimes it will sputter when trying to reach angles that don’t obviously accommodate that. Ease of cleaning: 8/10 Instruction video covers how to clean most of the parts. The reading material for cleaning was slightly different than the video, when I looked it up, the foam portion in the back needed to be replaced, but it wasn’t mentioned anywhere in my manual. Latex paint use case: 6/10 I do not recommend this method unless you already have a lot of pre-thinned latex paint. I used the largest nozzle and the correct settings, and when the paint came out the first few times, it came out mildly spotty, but eventually, with a little experience—it came out perfect. Reloading latex (water-based) paint into it was annoying between sets. Behr Brand polyurethane use case: 10/10 THIS Is what it’s supposed to be like. A slightly smaller nozzle and —easy, even spraying across the entire part. The experience of spraying polyurethane was significantly better than thinning the paint—fun even. Context: The benches in the photo I made and painted and top-coated with polyurethane via the sprayer. I looked up a sprayer that would be good with Latex paint and Water-based Polyurethane. Essentially anything I could dilute with filtered water to make my process easier and more beginner friendly. I mixed it thoroughly and strained it into the canister and started applying coats of paint. It was splotchy and thick so I changed the settings. I was elated at how even the paint got applied to the surfaces. Running out of that paint is a real problem though, since it took me so long to figure out what paint to water ratio to have. I will say that I had a much better time with the polyurethane spray.

I do like everything about this sprayer except the constant paint reload which increases the length of time it takes to complete the job, that's why I give it 4 🌟 instead of 5 🌟 stars. I know some customers have complained of having problems with the sprayer but I think the problem isn't the sprayer but not reading the operational instructions and understanding it . At first I did have operational problems because I went fast tracking without completely reading the operational book but once I did that everything else (except paint reloading) was a breeze. I do recommend this sprayer to anyone looking for a excellent sprayer for the money that does the job without busting your pocket. One more thing never had a paint drip problem while using this sprayer. Cautionary note: Make sure you clean it properly every time you use it for it to have a longer working life span.

I bought this to paint my own cabinets (first mistake) and it was just fine. Maybe I didn’t experiment with it enough beforehand but I used a water based paint and it went on VERY thick and dripped quite a bit. I ended up using it to apply the paint and then spread it with a paintbrush to better distribute. This did make the process go faster but afterwards I still had to do touch up. As with any spraying you have to tape and cover everything really well but I felt like this sprayer had a large overspray area.

I was skeptical at first but I went with the good reviews..to my surprise it worked extremely well. I'm building a playroom downstairs for the kids and wanted to use this to spray the floor joist above black. The spray gun worked great and provided great coverage, so much that it looks like the one coat is gonna be plenty. I had no issues with the gun spraying overhead and in a vertical motion. I was able to complete the whole basement in 2 days. Probably could've done it in 1 but I had other stuff to do. Assembling and disassembling the gun to clean is simple. Make sure you always clean after each use, and you'll have no issues. Instructions were clear and explain everything. Overall I'm very satisfied and would definitely recommend this spray gun. Saved me a ton of time and effort!

First use with this product was great. After using, I watched videos and read the instructions on how to clean it, took me about 20 minutes to clean it and put it back together in its original form. I went to use it a second time, it worked perfectly for about 15 minutes, then a stream of paint just started spewing from the nozzle, like a water hose on full blast. I then took it apart, cleaned again, let it dry, put back together and it worked for another 10 minutes and did the same exact thing. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Spend a little extra money and get an airless sprayer from Harbor Freight. I wish I could return this, but it is out of my return date range.

Purchased this to paint my basement ceiling with latex paint. I put a splash of water in the reservoir each time I refilled it with paint and this thing worked great. Saved me hours of time and if it never works again, it doesn’t matter at this cost. I don’t think you would finish paint an interior wall with this but it has a nice spray pattern that will work great for staining.
