  • Doesn't hold up to wind
Finally put this carport up Sunday. Installation was straightforward and took about 2.5 hours. There were a few glaring issues right out of the gate -- several of the velcro straps that are meant to go around the poles were cut too short to actually go around the pipes. Where the velcro straps were attached, the tarp material was already stretched thin in some places even though no tension had been applied yet (they were still folded inside the box). The front panel was also missing a grommet on one side at the bottom, which is arguably the worst one to be missing. That was Sunday -- fast forward to Wednesday and one rain storm and the tarp is ripped in multiple places (where the velcro attaches) and is thread bare in a few other places. Three days and some rain and it's already falling apart. Also, I added the 2-year protection plan but since this is a third-party seller, Amazon requires a shipping notification from the seller before adding the protection plan. The seller never notified Amazon so Amazon cancelled the protection plan. What a waste of money. ... show more

  • Stay Away!!
As others have said before, stakes are too small, velcro doesn't work, tarp is torn. See the photos, this unit is less than 60 days old. I have spent a little under $150 on new stakes, new straps, new ground anchors, and a grommet kit. If the seller won't refund us, Amazon should. Save your money and buy something of quality. Update, the wind finally finished the job, bent poles, torn cover, now it is unusable. Thankfully, my truck wasn’t parked inside. I can’t emphasize this enough, Do Not Buy this!! ... show more

  • Not very durable
While the frame is very durable, the actual material is not. Within 2 weeks many grommet tore out, the Velcro ripped off and one of the bungee cord straps broke. This was a gift to my parents and one windy day caused this much damage. Also the anchors that came with it were to small. I am glad that they decided to use longer ones or I am sure it would have been worse. ... show more

  • Doesn’t hold up well to wind
Really liked it after it was built. It just barely fit between my garage and fence and completely covered the entire area! A few days later, the wind pushed it out and the ladder I was using before scraped my car. I was able to get it back in and secured and a few months later it tipped over again over power lines. Not sure if a warranty is provided but all of the poles are bent and tarps are ripped so I have to go buy a new one before winter. If you get this, I recommend I clamping it or bolting the poles to something sturdy. This product catches wind too easily and won’t hold up with just the pieces alone. ... show more

  • Held up. Buy better stakes.
I waited for a while to see how well this held up to weather in North Texas. Need to get better anchors. The ones they ship are not good at all. I got 16in steel stakes and drilled the holes open just a bit so anchors would work. We have 40 to 50mph winds the last two days and it held up great. No tears or ripping. I'm using this as an extra work area for a golf cart and motorcycles. Plenty of room for all three, two tables and I hung lights from the center pole across the top. I would recommend this to anyone needing temporary storage or cover. ... show more

  • Not stable
We bought this as temporary storage until we got our garage built and it was ruined with the first snow with slight wind gusts. Came home from work to find it in the power lines and in my neighbors back yard. The stakes they send with it are a joke and now it’s unusable without replacing at least 3 of the poles. 0/10 recommend this product. ... show more

  • Did not hold up to any wind
Broke .wind blew it over the first week we set it up. Bent a few pols. Dose not hold up to any wind .it was not that windy. It was bulted to the ground and that part just bent and broke. Welding was not strong enough. Damaged.

  • Not recommended.
It was up 3 days until the 1st wind. The wind ripped the Velcro on the front and back. The sides had the metal tarp rings installed. 4 of them ripped in its 1st wind. I wouldn't even consider it a bad wind. Every time there is a slight wind, more damage is found. I added anchors which otls the only reason it hasn't been a kite, yet. ... show more
