In the land of 2x3 rugs, this one has the following features: 1. It's machine washable. So you can have it by an exterior door, get dirt and mud on it. Shake it and put it in the washing machine. 2. It's one of those super-soft to the hand. Not just smooth/no rough edges soft, but chenille sweater soft. 3. This is the new-desired low and flat mats so that doors can go over them without bunching up and they won't weigh down a washing machine. If you're looking for an old-fashioned thick statement rug, this isn't it. 4. The colors and depth of colors are designed to hide dirt. The colors are as pictured which is helpful in making a decision. 5. The rug is cut straight. So many of these small rugs are out of plumb and "crooked." This one is great. 6. It scoots maybe 1" if you aggressively wipe your feet, but it doesn't travel which is great. No under rug pad needed. Overall, you get as pictured with the above features. I got the 2x3 grey/blue. I ordered a 5'x7' size glad it wasn't any bigger or it would have to go under the couch. I feel like this size is quite large but it is worth it, the coffee table covers part of this but you can still see the beautiful floral pattern which covers the whole thing, not many bare spots at all. The pile is relatively low and easy to vacuum, and wiping up any spills is a cinch. Though it is washable I would take a larger one and wash it outside by hand or to the laundry mat. Getting a new rug for a room, makes the room feel new and fresh. What also sold me, was the rubber backing- this rug stays in place where you intend to keep it. Sure there are a few wrinkles and folds when you first get it, but those lines diminish and go away after a few days. A great way to make a home mini makeover without doing much work, a new rug instantly changes the room's atmosphere and personality. This rug was made with quality in mind, I hope it lasts for at least 5 years or more. Only time will tell. The cats already enjoy laying on it. ... show more

This rug is so soft! It feels great on your feet. It stays in place and loose dirt brushes clean easily. The 2X3, cream rug is true to size and color. It fits well in my doorway. Although the description says it is machine washable, the tag says hand wash, so the vendor has added a note that it is machine washable and the product label is incorrect. I'm still reluctant to throw it in the washing machine. There are creases right out of the packaging, but the instructions given for removing them worked well (lay flat upside down, press down with heavy object). I wanted to use this small rug at my front door step, but my cats took a liking to it because it is so soft. It is now in their sleeping area. I do like how very soft it is, and it has a nice pile. Even with shoes on, I can feel its luxury. The design itself is very attractive and pleasing and is versatile enough to fit with other room decor and colors. My only beef with this rug is that the painted image has already worn just from being folded in shipping. The rug definitely has a weathered effect which is interesting, but I fear the rest of the image will wear away too soon. When I wash it (great feature!), I will hang-dry it so I don't cause further deterioration of the image. Overall, it's a nice rug and its best feature is its softness. ... show more

It's looks the same as advertised. It's has a smooth texture yet it's not slippery. It's washable and that makes it suitable for use in moderate traffic areas of the house. Since I ordered the one with a white background, I won't risk it in a place that could stain it permanently. It comes with an anti-slip backing that does the job pretty well. It doesn't move around substantially with regular foot traffic. I got a foot wiping rug for outside my door, but it was a bit too small. I wanted to add a lovely surround with some cheerful colors, and this mat is perfect for that. It fits the width of my door exactly, and my wiping rug is able to be equally centered in the middle. It looks amazing and elevates my home's welcome with the pattern and shades becoming a coordinating border. I mostly love that it can easily be thrown in the washing machine since floor mats often need cleaning. This feature makes it so convenient. This is advertised as machine washable, but the label indicates it is hand wash only. Big disappointment. Also, the material is more like microfiber than typical rug material. It is very soft, but I don’t know how durable it will be. Also, while the design is very pretty, the strands are not dyed all the way through. You can see the white underneath. This is a great rug and the colors and pattern are awesome! See second pic for a good depiction of the colors. It’s very soft; more like a blanket than a rug. It has short pile so my robovac doesn’t have any problem rolling over it. It says washable, but it does have the rubber backing so we will see how it survives the washer. Best of all IT DOES NOT ATTRACT DOG HAIR!!! I think because it’s so soft versus a rug that has a denser pile. Highly highly recommend!! ... show more
