I originally bought a cheap travel bag for our car seat that I would have to carry with my hands that didn’t work out well. After purchasing this and being able to travel “hands-free” is a game changer. I no longer dread travel with a car seat to the airport. I do wish it had some kind of moisture protection. I have done a workaround and wrapped the car seat in a garbage bag and a secondary layer for my Diono RXT car seat. 4 stars because of not being waterproof/water resistant.

It’s so much easier to use than the box the car seat shipped in while navigated the airport. However it’s not as padded as I would like. Per CPSTs car seats should always travel in their shipping box but ours got destroyed in TSA. Which can only concern me more when it’s now traveling in this bag that’s not as padded as I’d hoped. Our seat has survived one trip so far in this bag.

I got this to use for my baby’s infant/newborn car seat. It feels like great quality (will be traveling with it this week) and straps are sturdy. It fits the infant car seat AND the base perfectly! And there’s more room to store some things inside the seat. I have the Graco snugride snuglock 35 LX.

The bag served its intended purpose - it was easy to get the seat into and out of, it was easy to carry (back straps), it held up on the trip when checked at ticketing. Calling it padded, however, is a big stretch. The side pads are about 1/8" thick, with zero cushioning. I don't think padding is a necessary feature for the car seat, but since it was advertised I would have expected it to be there. Once home, the bag folded up nicely after following the few steps. I am satisfied overall with the bag and purchase, and hope it survives many more trips.

This car seat bag was a lifesaver. I carried it on my back after baggage claim and while waiting for our rental. It was comfortable to wear and didn’t feel ridiculously heavy nor bulky. I felt that the car seat was safe and in tact through all of the travels and it didn’t create issues when I needed to push the stroller, our shared suitcase and have the car seat bag on my back. Very convenient and safe travels for whomever purchases this bag. ❤️

Gotta admit I wasn’t too excited to be flying with 2 carseats because I wasn’t sure if we would be able to take them on the actual plane and I’ve had checked luggage get damaged in the past. I figured if we had to check them, these might take some of the pressure off since they’re padded. At the airport, I passed on checking them at check-in. We proceeded with them all the way to the gate which actually was so easy with the straps to carry them on our backs. It also made going through security much easier/faster because they have you go into a separate line because you have to have the carseats examined. Good way to speed up the security process. As another reviewer said, please keep in mind that you will have to take it out of the bag to be examined so that’s going to add a few minutes to security if you have it already in the bag. We got to the gate and it turned out the seats on our plane, even in first class, we’re not wide enough to accommodate so they had us check them there at the gate. Upon arrival to our destination, we picked up the carseats at the gate which was a relief to see they weren’t tossed in with the regular luggage. Both to and back from our destinations, the bags held up really well and definitely made traveling through the airports with them much easier. Glad we purchased them.
