This is a soft gig bag, not a case with stiff sides. It comes folded in half. Other than that it seems well enough made. but best not leave it out of your sight.

There are some things I'd have preferred -- rigid sides for better protection being chief among them, plus rubber feet so this could stand on its own -- but for what it is, and my needs, it's okay. It does come folded, and if past experience is any indication, the wrinkles will take some time to work out. Stitching and zippers seem fine (there's also some bright-orange contrasty bits that keep it from looking too drab). I'm using this to store wind controllers, and it's fitting three with a bit of room to spare. I don't need the shoulder straps, but those tuck in their own little pocket on the back and there are two carrying handles, so I'm okay with that. I'd probably price this about ten bucks cheaper for what it is, but given the quality I can't say I'm too disappointed in it.

This saxophone bag is not very sturdy. I have a standard bag which came with the saxophone. Like most of them there is not enough space in the bag to store all the needed items away. Not even the etude books are fitting. And the shoulder straps are not very comfortable at all. But it is very sturdy and is protecting the instrument well. So I am looking for something better. This bag was looking promising, enough space inside the instrument compartment, extra (2) compartments with pockets in the front. The lower is large enough for the etude books. The shoulder straps are wide all the way down and comfortable. There is plenty of space in the instrument compartment for additional items. But the side of the bag is not very well protected. Some plastic strip around the compartment would give the whole bag much more stability. So the bag is somehow collapsing when there is no instrument inside and it is not possible to have the bag upright beside you. Very important in smaller venues. There are also no protected plastic "legs" which prevent the bag to get dirty on the bottom side. So I am some type of disappointed about the bag.
