    • Great Help But A Learning Curve
I am installing 8.25 inch lap board concrete siding on a shop building and have no one that can help me. I struggled with it before looking for a better solution. Once I set the bottom row and being sure it is level, these are a tremendous amount of help. There is a little bit of a learning curve on them, but once you get past that, it truly is like having an extra set of hands to hold things. You can adjust the depth of the reveal on your boards, which is great. The construction of these tools is heavy duty so I feel sure they will last a long time. They did not damage the siding in any way while being used and once set in place they do not slip at all. This tool is WEIGHTY and well-made! Right out of the package, my brother-in-law said it made his life a whole lot easier. It sure is nice and saves you a ton of time - it's just like having another pair of hands to hold the siding.     • High quality tool
I knew these were manufactured well as soon as I took them out of the package. They are made of thick plastic. I do not fear them breaking anytime soon. The idea is clever and they do well for their intended purpose.

Well made, tough siding gauge. Easy to use and made of material that reduces the likelihood of marring. It is always nice to have extra help when siding, but if you find yourself alone this tool will certainly help.

The PacTool Gecko Siding Gauges are easy to use and very well made. The padded cam lock works great and protects the siding from scratches, dings, and dents during installation. They are very easy to use and work amazing especially when you are working alone.
