What an incredible value for TWO lighted remotes that replace the Apple TV remotes, which are not serviceable and its rechargeable batteries expire over time. This remote simply works. This remote replicates all of the Apple TV remote functions except for the confounding touchpad function that is both a plus and a minus (most non-techies I know hate how inconsistent and difficult the remote is to master). As bonuses, the remote also controls most major TV's power on/off and volume functions. For my Samsung, LG and Insignia TV's, those features works immeidately without the need to tweak, program or test, and I can walk between rooms to and from different TV's, and they just work (AMAZING!!). Slight issues include the channel buttons and the build quality--even though the remote features "channel" up/down buttons, they don't work for any of my TVs. Also, the build quality is a bit chintzy, as is the paint finish. That said, for the money, you really can't ask for anything more. Simply a great buy that's perhaps the best value among all replacement Apple TV remotes out there.

Two remotes for my Apple TV for ten bucks is a steal! They work great and light up as well. I buy so many because my one year old gets his hands on them and gets them wet or throws them. Worth the price!

A good value for two remotes. The buttons being backlit is a big plus! The 'TV' button is missing, so changing apps is more difficult than it needs to be. You have to use the < button to back out of what you're watching. There's no instant back to the Home screen button.

I have to say this is one of the best surprises I have gotten when buying cheap devices. To be honest, I ordered this mostly because it was very cheap, and it came with two remotes so I thought I have a replacement when the first one inevitable would break. As soon as I opened the box and got them out, I thought I have confirmed my suspicions as they feel extremely cheap, so my expectations lowered a lot and i thought I had wasted my money. Still, I tried using them and I am SO GLAD I did. They may feel cheap, but they work even better than expected. I am extremely surprised. I have two different apple TV's, an older model and a 4k one (not the latest). They are connected to a Visio and Samsung TVs respectively. I got one of the remotes out, installed the batteries and it started working right away. I didn't have to do any setup or anything and I was immediately able to control the Apple TV 4k. All the functions work exactly as expected. This is perfect for my mother, she used to hate the original Apple TV remote as it was really hard for her to use it. She hated the buttons and the fact she couldn't see them in the dark but specially the tiny trackpad she was supposed to use to select stuff. This remote fixes all of that. It is backlit, so as soon as you touch any key, it lights up. It has buttons to control all the normal functions of the Apple TV and it can also control the TV independently. My mom loves it as it is much easier for her. You can also control the power, change channels and volume on the TV without having to configure anything. I then took that same remote to the next room where my other apple TV is and I was able to control it right away. I was also able to control the other TV without any issues. I love that. It works perfectly. The only thing I see is that this remote only works with line of sight as they are Infra Red. That is not an issue for me. For the price and the ease of us I absolutely recommend this remotes to anyone who needs a replacement or who has older people needing to use the TV.

Way better than original remote . Don't hesitate, just make sure you have 2 aaa batteries. It worked perfectly right out of the box . Didn't have to program anything.

This piece of plastic that got delivered on Sunday has already partially stopped working… The rewind/fwd buttons dont work ON BOTH REMOTES so these pieces of trash will be returned for a full redund…

I was totally bummed when I lost my original Apple TV remote. I mean, how was I supposed to binge-watch my favorite shows without it? So, I went on a quest to find a replacement, and guess what? I got Dapodera Universal Replacement Remote! It was easy to link this remote to my Apple TV. No complicated setup instructions or anything. Now, let's get to the coolest part – the blue backlight. I mean, come on, who doesn't love a little mood lighting? Plus, it makes it super easy to see the buttons, even when it's dark. There's something so satisfying about pressing them down, I never have to second-guess where the play or pause button is – it's right there, waiting for me to press it. I was expecting to drop some serious cash on a replacement remote, but this one was super reasonably priced. Like, I didn't even have to think twice about buying it.
