It wasn’t as hard to assemble as a lot of people are claiming that it is, its time consuming. Putting anything together like this especially with the individual slats that make it look like a fence, yeah, it takes some time. Free up about an hour or two to put this thing together, have all the pieces laid out, go step by step with the directions in front of you. Other than that, the bed is very sturdy. My daughter enjoys it. We haven’t had any quality issues with the bed and it was a good price compared to everything else that doesn’t have this type of look. The drawers have small wheels that you have to install and the drawers are able to be moved around with ease, too easy I would say with hardwood floors. My only “complaint” and it’s not necessarily a complaint Is that the drawers can be pulled all the way out, there is nothing stopping my kids from pulling them all the way out, pulling all of the contents out of them to use them as giant wooden rectangle boats. I wish the bed had stoppers underneath so the drawers can’t be separated from the bed, this can and will be fixed with a little parental ingenuity but so far, so good! We ordered this for a Christmas present for our childs first room....it came with no instructions....we called and emailed over and over begging them to respond, and they NEVER DID! Not even in the 2 day response time they advertised. And it tells you no returns! This bed is flimsy wood, it says it will hold 225 lbs. but there is no way! It says it will take an hour to install, took 4, trying to piece together without instructions! We will have to buy more wood for slats to make sturdy enough...if a kid jumps or plops to hard on bed it will split....Junk, dont waste your money...not to mention they didnt even bother to respond for a kids christmas...lousy seller! ... show more

I really love the aesthetics of the bed. It was pretty heavy because I assembled it with a friend. After having it put together it became lighter lol. But it's worth the money and supports a decent amount of weight as well
