I have experience with ozone generators over the years. They’ve changed quite a bit and become much smaller. The last one I purchased was close to $500 and we used it to get rid of any lingering smiles during an estate sale. We couldn’t believe how well it worked. You couldn’t smell anything anymore. This time around the original was already in use, and I needed to purge a house I am selling of cigarette smells. At the price point I was suspicious, but I gave it a try based on these reviews. It did just as great of a job as the $400 one. It’s a pretty simple set up, you just plug it in and make sure that anything that requires oxygen is outside of the house. This is essential as ozone isn’t breathable. It didn’t take much more than one treatment for 6 hours. The pesky smell is gone for good! Just because I don’t see it very clear in the instruction manual, I have to point out and urge that you do not clean one room at a time while occupying the home. It is not safe to do so and I highly recommend being outside the house or building. Ozone is deadly.

I bought this to clear out an unwanted odor in a 12 x 10 shed and it worked great. I have since used it for an automobile that had water intrusion as well as a room in our home. Both times it did a good job for those applications as well. I would recommend this product to others who want to clear out any unwanted odors.

I've tried a few ozone generators, but this one stands out. The 36,000mg/h output is extremely effective, especially for removing the musty smell from my garage. Within just a couple of hours, the air felt fresh and clean again. Most important is it needs to be aired out after but that was hard as I just opened the garage doors for a couple of minutes. This ozone machine works! I have a few rental properties, one had someone smoking inside. I used the machine in each room and it smelled soooo much better! I also used it in another property that had cats going outside of the litter box. While we did have to replace some subfloor due to the damage, we used the ozone machine in and around that property and it made a big difference!

This ozone generator worked great removing a musty smell in my truck. I ran the generator for 20 minutes, then afterwards I opened the doors and windows for an hour like the directions said. The results were great. Even the next morning after the truck had sat closed up all night, the smell was gone. I was impressed. The generator is small, and easy to use. Just plug in, set the timer for the size of the area you will be treating, and turn on.
