WOW! This small appliance works so well I am blown away! For it's small size I can't believe the job it does. My first use was in a 2018 SUV that had been smoked in since new. I detailed the vehicle and used this device and there is no way anyone could tell it had ever been smoked in. It even removed the odors from the detail. The dealer I sold it to was impressed by the looks and no odors as he had no clue it had been smoked in. Helped the sale a lot. My second use was in a utility/laundry room. We store cans for deposit, laundry sundries, tools, vegetables and the dogs spend a fair amount of time in there. It definitely had a ripe odor in there after many years. The room is 15'x17'. This device cleared out the odors in 90 minutes. Now it smells like nothing has ever been in there. It is very easy to use and is quiet. Plug it in, turn it on and walk away. Air it out when finished and shazam, it is odorless. I checked pricing to have the SUV deodorized and it was several hundred dollars. I can’t believe this actually worked. After picking up takeout on April 25th, a container leaked grease and sauce all over my passenger seat. By the next morning, my truck smelled absolutely horrible. I tried everything starting with airing it out, Febreze, carpet cleaners, and even a deep scrub with a Bissel. The stains disappeared, with the Bissel but that pungent smell just wouldn't budge. I decided to do a Google search for the best options to remove bad food odors from a vehicle. A few articles, videos, and Amazon suggestions popped up. I read a few articles and watched a couple of videos. Some of the videos were made by car detailers, and in many of them, the device they used to remove bad odors was an ozone generator. At that point, I went onto Amazon and searched for these devices. I read a few reviews and found one that had the best ratings, so I figured I would give it a try and ordered this Basvacsh 45,000mg/h Ozone Generator on April 28th. It arrived the very next day. The Process: The unit is incredibly easy to use but must be handled with care. Since it converts O2 to O3 (which is harmful to breathe), I followed the instructions strictly. I placed it on my center console, ran an extension cord through the door seal, set the timer for 30 minutes, and hung the included warning tags. Afterward, I let the truck air out for a few hours. The Results: The next morning, the smell was 100% gone. There was a faint scent—reminiscent of a clean pool or sauna—but that dissipated completely within 48 hours. My truck finally smells fresh again! I’m so impressed that I’m taking on the "Ultimate Test" this weekend: attempting to remove the heavy cigarette and mechanic-shop odor from my father-in-law's truck.
