I'm a small detailer located in Pennsylvania. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical when I purchased this machine because of the "too good to be true" price point. But I was very mistaken. I've used this item for clients who are looking to remove mold to clients who are looking to remove the left over stench of cigarette smoke from their vehicles. This item is more than effective at doing just that. The machine is very easy to use. Simply plug and power on the Machine, place it a desired area in your vehicle or small room, then dial the control for how long you want it to run. The control options are straight forward and simple. The airflow provided by this little machine is impressive. I've been able to clear moldy odors from vehicles as large as a Yukon Denali and also remove a musty smell from my bathroom. Works as advertised. No BS here. I had a mouse nest in my car's cabin filter after my car was parked without driving for 2.5 months. Mice decided to nest in my cabin filter. I didn't know until I started driving again and turned the heat on. DISGUSTING! I shop-vac'd the nest they made, sprayed a lot of bleach in the compartment, replaced the filter and still smelled the stink. Researched A LOT and this was what I ended up with. I used an extension cord, turned on the car, set to highest heat and fan mode with the RECYCLE/RECIRCULATE ON, and let this run for 40 minutes. It made a HUGE difference and was clear of the smell for months. Now, I think there may be a slight smell coming back but it could be my imagination also. I plan to run this again and have no doubt it will help tremendously. Great product so far, but only one use for 40 minutes. Update: I did rerun the ozone generator and let it go for 50 minutes. I can’t believe this actually worked. After picking up takeout on April 25th, a container leaked grease and sauce all over my passenger seat. By the next morning, my truck smelled absolutely horrible. I tried everything starting with airing it out, Febreze, carpet cleaners, and even a deep scrub with a Bissel. The stains disappeared, with the Bissel but that pungent smell just wouldn't budge. I decided to do a Google search for the best options to remove bad food odors from a vehicle. A few articles, videos, and Amazon suggestions popped up. I read a few articles and watched a couple of videos. Some of the videos were made by car detailers, and in many of them, the device they used to remove bad odors was an ozone generator. At that point, I went onto Amazon and searched for these devices. I read a few reviews and found one that had the best ratings, so I figured I would give it a try and ordered this Basvacsh 45,000mg/h Ozone Generator on April 28th. It arrived the very next day. The Process: The unit is incredibly easy to use but must be handled with care. Since it converts O2 to O3 (which is harmful to breathe), I followed the instructions strictly. I placed it on my center console, ran an extension cord through the door seal, set the timer for 30 minutes, and hung the included warning tags. Afterward, I let the truck air out for a few hours. The Results: The next morning, the smell was 100% gone. There was a faint scent—reminiscent of a clean pool or sauna—but that dissipated completely within 48 hours. My truck finally smells fresh again! I’m so impressed that I’m taking on the "Ultimate Test" this weekend: attempting to remove the heavy cigarette and mechanic-shop odor from my father-in-law's truck.
