I have used the more expensive SmartPond Waterfall pumps for years. It seems SmartPond's latest pumps are not as good as they used to be as the latest one I purchased only worked a few months and just felt cheap/was extremely loud in our pond. I purchased this OYO pump to replace the SmartPond WPR3600. Right out of the box the OYO pump feels very sturdy. Once I placed the OYO pump in my pond, it was nearly silent but the water output for our waterfall was perfect. I am very happy with my purchase on this one. Something to keep in mind is the cord is longer than other pumps I have purchased. However, I like this as it gave me more room to have the plug into an outlet.

I went with the 3900 gallon pump. Holy Cow this pump moves some water. I am pumping from the pond, up on the porch (a rise of about 4ft) to a diy 55gallon drum filter. I had to install 2 return lines to keep up with the flow. My pond is around 400 gallon. It is absolutely crystal clear!! Highly recommend this pump. I will order again when the time comes that I need another.

I replaced a PW65 little Giant submersible pump which is rated to 1900 GPH with this, 3500 GPH OYO. You would think I would be much more powerful. I am feeding basically 4 1/2in bubblers. And this performance was at about 50% of the little giant. If replacing Little Giant, do a 4x to get the correct/similar results. Which then makes this purchase about equal. Update: Spectacular customer service! I updated my review rating.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love it. It probably saved my pond and all the fish due to no rain for over a month with 110 temps. In order to get it to get it to spray high in the air you have to get a 2in pipe and a cap to drill holes in. I love mine.
