I bought two of these one for myself one for my grandfather and they are excellent for holding coffee and coffee beans however I would recommend ordering it directly from the oxo site, because the second one I ordered I had to essentially order three times to get it the first time the seal didn't work the second time they didn't send a lid and I was told I had to refund the entire transaction and place the order again in order to get it so that time I just went directly through their website and I got a container that is an even better fit than the first one I got and it works amazingly. 10/10 recommend this product and oxo's support team ... show more

I always get 2 pounds of ground coffee and was hoping this container would worl. Unfortunately it only holds 1 pound of ground coffee. The container and lid are built well and as all OXO products was easy to clean. Returned to order a larger container. Just wish OXO made larger containers in the smoked color feature ... show more

This is my first Pop storage container. I wished a 2.2 lbs of coffee could fit in this container; it didn't. My guesstimate was wrong. However, it seems very well made and keeping coffee fresh. I'll have to find a larger OXO container. When I get one, this would store flour or sugar.

The only caution with this canister is to be gentle and hand-wash the top. Otherwise water could enter the mechanism. I love this for storing coffee, beans or ground. Although many vacuum-lock containers are out there, this one is easy to care for, easy to operate, and easy to see into (although I love the "smoke" tint!) ... show more

Purchased as a gift for someone that got into French pressing their coffee. They absolutely love this thing. The quality is out of this world. So so so good! We love it and wish they sold this same product in a bigger size.

    • Nice but earlier version better
I like these containers but I have another set, also Oxo brand that is older which I like more. The difference is in the covers. The old covers / lids are taken apart for cleaning by turning counterclockwise and are labeled. The new ones are rubber you pull out, and these new ones do not seal as tightly as the older ones. If I pick up a container filled with coffee or sugar but the lid on the old ones the lid stays in place and on the new ones the lid actually separates from the container... it comes off, so the seal is not so good. ... show more
