I have never disliked an item more in my life. EVER. I WISH I could give this product 0 stars. After not liking my momcozy baby cam, I decided to try the owlet because I have the sock and the sock is amazing so I thought this product would be great too.. I was very very wrong. It was working fine for ONE night and then the next is when it would shut off and say camera offline, connection unstable (I tested it out in multiple houses and it did the same thing in each one), and it even WOULD FREEZE AND GO MUTE. That was probably the most terrifying thing as a first time parent hearing my baby scream because she was an awake and looking at the monitor and seeing she was sound asleep… MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. thankfully I was awake and cleaning the house so I was able to hear it, but what if I wasn’t? My poor baby would have probably been crying all night. Do yourself a favor and get a different camera even if it is a little bit more expensive. This camera is a headache and you will not be able to get things done OR sleep peacefully knowing your baby is okay. I just got the Eufy camera for $100 more and it is AMAZING so far. ... show more

Generally speaking I think it does work as expected. I don’t think it’s as intuitive as I’d like it to be if you don’t use the sock. Just as a camera is fine, it’s just nothing fancy. It does record when there’s movement and I would say for the most part it captures most things (you can control how sensitive you want the camera) so sometimes it does miss things. App is fine to use; no notes on that really. We primarily use this to help log what times we put down and get baby up from crib for nap scheduling. We don’t rely on this monitor overnight. Camera quality could be better, I don’t think it’s our WiFi so the zooming capability is lacking slightly. Serves its purchase and I’m happy it didn’t cost over $100 to do so. ... show more

This camera was great when it was brand new. We have had this camera for about 9 months. About 3-4 months in it started losing connection to WiFi. A simple unplug and plug back in would fix it. But a couple days ago not even that worked. I troubleshooted the issue and followed the instructions to reset, remove and re add, every option it gave I tried- nothing worked. I reached out to customer service and they had me do the same things- then they told me it was a WiFi issue instead of a product issue- which the app that they had me install to test my WiFi says I have no WiFi problems and this is the only product that isn’t working on WiFi.
