I’m kind of picky about water bottles. If I don’t have a bottle that keeps my water cold, I don’t drink nearly enough water. This bottle keeps ice all day and into the night. The mouth piece is plastic instead of that silicone or rubber type and curved so it’s really comfortable to drink from if that’s even a thing. Some bottles with straws can be rather noisy and this one is quiet and doesn’t make that squeaky noise as you drink. I like the flip top feature so I’m not touching the mouth piece. I’m not a germaphobe by any means, but it is still a nice feature. Bonus that it’s dishwasher safe. I’ve owned a lot of water bottles and this is my favorite by far! ... show more

I have used many water bottles before but this one is still one of the best I have used. It is very durable and easy to use, it keeps the temperature cool or hot for very long. The only 2 minor negativity is that it can spill easily and it is hard to clean. I still recommend this to everyone.

This item from Amazon is defective! I don’t ever write reviews but really feel like this is necessary to share. I purchased one of these flip sip bottles directly from the Owala site about 6 months ago. LOVED it. I ONLY drink carbonated water (soda water/sparkling whatever you want to call it) and NEVER had any issues with this bottle. (Even though it does say not to use carbonated beverages on the bottle, believe me when I say it was tested tried and true, ran thru the dishwasher many times and never any issues). Anyway I lost mine somewhere and needed a replacement, and thought that purchasing thru Amazon would just expedite the shipping, thinking I would be purchasing the exact same quality product that I grew to love. So I purchased 2 of these from amazon, one for me and one as a gift. However we quickly realized that these are defective. Water SHOOTS out of the spout and sprays everywhere no matter how little liquid is even in the bottle. Oh yeah and if you’re thinking it must be the carbonation pressure buildup, NOPE! It did it with flat water as well! I’m so angry that Amazon is clearly selling a a defective product. I will be returning them and will have to re-purchase directly thru Owla’s website.
