    • Met Almost All Of My Expectations.
This 28 inch waterproof PVC cover fit easily over the suitcase with room to spare for a suitcase expanded to a full load. Of the protective covers I checked out, it had the best fit for the handles preventing water from accessing the case. The side handle did not have a flap to cover the slit when not in use, but none of those I checked had one. This is an issue especially if there isn't a side handle. The PVC was a bit thinner that others (but not cheap), easy to handle, and weighed a total of 12.9 ounces - a pound lighter than the others. (Weight being a concern for suitcase limits and pulling/carrying luggage.) It did have the PVC smell. The slide/zipper storage case did not have a strong odor and everything folded to a 10.25 x 8 x .5 inch measure for storage. The trim is black, and the white Velcro closure is at the bottom will cover any hand grip that might be there, however, because of its design, it could be augmented with a cutout and still function very well. I would caution use on a conveyor belt as there is potential for openings to catch, but traveling in damp, rainy weather ... great for a fabric case. This was my favorite of those I looked at. I recommend anyone that has hardside luggage invest in a cover for luggage. ! This cover works well . My luggage has zero scratches, skid marks after using 5/6 times already. The only con is that it had a weird strong plastic smell , but it came right out after soaking in Vinegar and baking soda.

Just received this and am immediately returning it. I ordered the 28" for my 26" luggage because I followed the sizing chart. Although the product looks to be decent quality, the sizing is no where near what I ordered. The ones I received are 16" tall, 15" side and 7" deep. The package is clearly marked 28.3 x 12.2 x 8". I ordered three of them, so it isn't like one was put in the wrong packaging. All three were marked the same and all three of them were 16x15x5. Also, I specifically wanted one that has a side opening for the side handle, which the description says it had. None of these have any side openings. It is supposed to have two individual openings for the top handle and for the top slide handle. These all have one large opening, almost the size of the entire top, which leaved the top of the luggage open to the weather. ... show more

It was the right size for my 26 in Delsey but the cutout for handle and strap are in the wrong location. Didn’t have time to return before my trip so ended up using it and flipped it over. I thought it was going to last but it ripped.
