  • vibrant and eye-catching
Color: Tri-color Black Red Gold
Absolutely love the OVV3D Tri-Color PLA filament! The color shift is vibrant and eye-catching, and it really makes prints stand out without any post-processing. OVV3D Tri-Color PLA filament has a smooth, consistent extrusion with no clogging or tangling. Layer adhesion was solid, and the surface finish came out clean and glossy — perfect for display pieces and articulated prints. The filament was well-wound and printed reliably right out of the box. If you’re looking to add some serious wow factor to your 3D prints, this tri-color PLA is definitely worth picking up. I’ll be ordering more for future projects ... show more

  • Very cool filament
Color: Tri-color Red Blue Yellow
This filament could make a very cool Nintendo 64 logo. It's a silk PLA, so everything about silk PLAs will apply regarding your prints. That said, it's very cool to see the colors slightly shift. I was hoping for a stronger chameleon effect, but that's on my expectations not being realistic. It still made awesome-looking prints. The layer lines were a bit more pronounced than I would've wanted, but that's also nothing a bit of smoothing can't fix. Definitely will get again. ... show more

  • Amazing
Color: Tri-color Red Blue Yellow
It is just PLA silk, but it lives up to its beauty. You need to know your printer very well to get the most out of it, but it is exceptional on prints. The one downside is you don't know the variation you'll get, and to help lock the color in properly don't print multiple objects on your plate. I had to print an item 5 times to get the color band I wanted, but it was worth every penny, the promo's I gave out made up for the business. ... show more

  • Pretty colors, numerous qc problems though.
Color: 4 Pack Tri-color & Dual-color
I bought this 4 pack to give dual color and tricolor silks a whirl, to print some cheistmas gifts. I have now been futtzing with this for 2 days and havent managed to get a single print off. Moreover, I have tried different first layer/project temps, bed temps, and reslicing different projects using different infill patterns, shell thicknesses, brims and the like and have yet to get a single print past the first layer. The cardboard spools on my rolls are offcenter and wobble when they roll on the spool (probably has zero affect on print quality). When I run a first layer calibration, the filament lays down fone and looks like it should produce a good print. But no matter what object I slice and print even with those same settings, this filament globs up all over my hot end and creates a nightmare of a mess. I made a mistake in setting a print up and walking away for 30 minutes after it started, with the first print, and had this pla smashed all over and melted around my nozel and hot end. (Probably going to have to replace the hot end at this point, though it still seems to function, but is covered in this melted PLA film). I have never had this kind of issue with any other filaments I have ordered, and wouldnt be able to recommend this. Furthermore, its pretty expensive for 4 200g rolls of questionable quality. Your mileage may vary, as I see plenty of good reviews here which is why I purchased. But I suspect some bad QC is to blame. Printing on a prusa MK3 ... show more

  • Awesome tricolor filament!
Color: Tri-color Macaron
Really great results with the "Macaron" tricolor filament! It prints great with the same settings I've used for other matte filament, and I love the effect!

  • A Bit Finicky, But Gorgeous and Rewarding
Color: Tri-color Macaron
This is one of the most interesting filaments I have ever worked with. I took off one star, because I found it a lot harder to get dialed in than your average PLA. I think the different colors might have some slightly different optimal temperatures, etc. But if you want to play around with incredibly gorgeous pastel colors, try this out. Strongly recommend using a concentric pattern on the top layer. You get a really nice effect, whereas linear or zigzag ends up looking muddy from overhead. ... show more

  • Quality Wood Filament
Color: Wood Oak
Worked well so far. Gave it a good dry just to be safe before printing, and the quality has been nice. With some sanding and a bit of stain I was able to get some really good wood looking textures (there is no grain printed onto the platform, I found with a water based stain that if you apply it generously and then wipe it away softly, it will pool up in a way that looks like wood grain). Used on my anycubic Kobra X at 195C with the regular brass 0.4mm nozzle without fuss. I think it’s a good value if you want to print something that looks and feels a little more woody. Id also recommend higher infills, having a little heft and a deeper sound make it feel more wood like. (Note the arm in the picture is different, only the base is wood PLA and was the best stain job I’ve gotten so far) ... show more
