I have purchased multiple other zero gravity chairs (I use indoors and outdoors) just to relax. Two other brands i bought failed (including the Caravan Brand zero gravity chair that I paid $40 for a few years ago, it is now listed at $90. I am heavy (300 lbs)/6'1" tall. I shoudl have ordered the wider version of this chair (but I didn't realize until after I ordered I got the 24" width). However. it is sturdier then my other standard zero gravity chairs, the locking mechanism handle is easier to operate as well (which is important). Along the pad that comes with the chair (and beverage holder) it is a well worth the extra few dollars it cost from a zero gravity chair that doesn't come with a pad and is not as sturdy Another tip, for the leg rest bar, don't spend big bucks for the foam padding I have seen ($20. Get a foam pool noodle that has the hole in the middle (they cost around $2 to $3), slice the one side carefully of the pool noodle with a sharp blade/measure to size and slide on the foot rest bar.

This is a sturdy and well made chair. It is relatively big and wide. (Made to hold up to 300 pounds.) But if you are over weight you still find the width of it a little confining. I am about 250 lbs and I wanted a wide and sturdy chair. Two inches wider would have made it perfect. Pad it comes with is pretty thick and comfortable. I would say its a good value for the price. Can be a little stiff to fold when its brand new. My feet go past the bar for your feet so I added extra padding (Bubble wrap) for my legs to rest on when I am reclining all the way. It comes fully assembled. locks firmly under each arm rest for any position.

Chair came with minor cosmetic damage, (probably from shipping) pad kind of thin but comfortable, pillow also nice. Only squawk is the foot bar is not padded. I added a foot bar pad and am now happy.

****2/7 UPDATE to the review below: these chairs are trash. I should have returned them. The arm portion of the frame one one has started to break. Of course my return window closed a week ago. I got them (spending what I thought was extra for quality) because they are advertised to hold up to 500 lbs and I'm a big guy...but not nearly that big. The marketing write up on this product is laughable and completely unethical. Not "oversized" and NOT "durable". The only reason I gave it one star is it won't let me do zero. What a joke.**** Original review from December below: The chair is comfy but not nearly as comfy as advertised. I'm probably going to keep them because I don't feel like dealing with returns on these large items and they'll do, but they were advertised as "oversized" and they are definitely not. They ar narrower than my old regular sized chair. My arse barely fits. They seem sturdy with wide bars and hardware but time will tell. All in all overpriced since I paid the extra thinking I was getting a larger chair.

This chair looks heavy and sturdy but looks are deceiving. Just a week using it and feels like it's going to break. It's not strong like I would've hoped. A beach chair is better.

I ordered 4 of these 1 of em completely went to crap within 6 months. It says for 500lbs but is built for smaller people, tight at the hips. The stitching poor quality headrest falls apart, cushion ties also once they come off there's no way to keep the cushion strapped down. The bar underneath the seat on 2 off em so far they fell off so when you sit the chairs fold in. And it ain't because 1 could argue were to big for the chairs they're rated for 500lbs were 300, so.... not sure the excuse there. Also the condition I received these in in there box no lie looked like they were kicked around and ripped up ima say 3 outta the 4 boxes came in that condition. Makes me think they don't care about their product either. I'd say if you could find ones more sturdier go for it I feel these are a temporary solution kinda chair. Not angry, just giving an honest "what did I think of this product?" Answer
