The arm just sits in the base. So, if you want to pick it up to move it anywhere, you best use two hands and carry each part separately. Seems a huge fundamental mistake not to have a way to secure the two parts together. Otherwise, okay.

This is a great tripod for content creation, that performs as described. It’s perfect for capturing footage at certain angles that I otherwise wouldn’t be able to get with a traditional tripod. The tripod moves in several directions, has a built in light for low light shots and the phone attachment is big enough to support my iPhone 14 max. Great value for the money, and I’m very happy with it.

This is a good quick solution, but it needs at least one refinement. The good: Goes together quickly and easily Fairly intuitive to use Light is bright and has multiple controls The bad: If you're trying to photograph or record something shiny, the light will create a hot spot right in the center of the subject. The phone holder is hinged, so it's possible to tilt the light so it's off-center and still aim the phone at the subject, however, the hinge has no adjustable tension and will not hold my phone in place. I had to resort to jamming a wad of rolled up bubble-wrap between the phone and the light to get the phone to stay up while the light was tilted slightly away.

phone mount with the light was a little clunky at first but once I figured out how it moves and swivels it is very nice. Extra swivel mount that came with the system helps a lot with adjustments. This is not a tripod as listed but a heavy steal plate with a single leg that comes in 2 sections and can be used with both or with only one section for shorter work. The moving arm is set up with springs like desk lamps from years ago but it works and does not rely on friction to hold the weight on the end of the arm. With the light at the same level as the phone/camera, there are no shadows and the light is dimmable as well as changing from soft to bright white.

I've been trying to step up my cooking game, and this overhead tripod has been a big help. The rechargeable light is a nice bonus, and the adjustable arm makes it easy to get the perfect shot; I like that it's also portable and easy to move around. It's been a great addition to my content creation setup (lol, my kitchen is now a mini studio).
