I bought this to do small videos on my phone and for work purposes. The stand is very sturdy and tall. I can adjust the height to fit over my monitor that has a 3" riser underneath. The stand can be extended to go over that height which is great. I love the fact that it has a nice big flat base because I know that it will not move around when I'm filming. There are two spots for phones. One is inside the ring and the other is the diagonal arm. I use the diagonal arm to tape the video of with my phone facing downwards. it's great. Pretty happy with this setup. Works well in my studio and I used it happily today to shoot product listing videos. one top I would say is don't over tighten the plastic clamps they work great just lightly hand tight you don't need to crank on them because that is how they will break. Overall I think the sturdiness of the product is nice and the ring light is very bright! It’s the exact product I needed EXCEPT the light only stays on for 30seconds, 2 minutes tops! This is fine if you just need it for pictures, but I’m using it for video recording and this messes up production very quickly.
