Ordered this toy for my grandson who just recently started walking. HE LOVES IT ! Only took a few hours for him to learn how to turn the music on himself and get those balls to start popping out of the elephant’s trunk. He enjoyed chasing the balls around the room and bringing them back to pop them into the trunk once again. This is a great toy to hold his attention and keep him physically active. Then later, he and Gramma can both enjoy a well deserved nap!

The Playskool Explore N' Grow Busy Ball Popper seems to be the standard for fun ball poppers but I think this one is just as good in a different way. This was the first one my son took an interest in, we showed it to him before he could really sit-up and crawl and he'd reach out to it while we held him. The balls can all continuously feed back into itself if you twist the spout straight, so we didn't have to go chasing after them while we held him. The balls tend to escape more on the Playskool Explore N' Grow Busy Ball Popper which is a feature that can be good or bad depending on how your baby uses it. I will say I think the option to turn the top of the ball tray to use as a handle is silly and unnecessary, it already has a great small footprint without the top twisting, and it doesn't make a very good handle. The top twisting just makes it so my son accidentally twists it when dunking balls, and I need to straighten it so the balls can be fed into it. I don't think that one drawback is worth removing a whole star for since he truly enjoys this ball popper. Neither popper will support him pulling up on it to stand. Now that he's older he actually enjoys using this one and the Playskool Explore N' Grow Busy Ball Popper simultaneously. He gets them both going at once and moves the balls between the two (he's 10 months). Details different from Playskool Explore N' Grow Busy Ball Popper: Smaller footprint Can continuously feed itself with few balls going loose (if desired) Start button is easier to access and press from front NOTE: If you want extra balls buy the officially ones from the Hasbro site, any others won't work as well.

Bought this for my 1 year old daughter and she loved it laughed every time the ball popped out of the trunk and got her to want to crawl/walk to get the balls that fell out

UPDATE I bought a new item entirely and it seemed to work! I really love the music and how cute and fun this item is!! I might keep it for good! It’s a little pricey though which is why I’ll make it 4 stars! This is NOT worth 40 bucks. I bought fresh new D batteries and the item never turned on…such a bummer! I should have listened to the other reviews that said that. Will be returning!!

The toy itself is so cute. Balls are large enough that baby can't put them in their mouth, but small enough that they can be handled. The toy loops the balls continuously by itself and is a lot of fun. Extremely easy for baby to figure out how to do it (just press a ladybug on top). Only downside is the music is quite loud.

My almost 2-year-old great nephew loves this toy. He has it figured out and it is so fun to watch him trying to catch the balls as they pop out. The music is peppy, and he is always dancing to it.

The media could not be loaded. Product does not work. First, mine only came with two out of the 4 balls. When turning it on, its not powerful enough to launch the balls out of the trunk so I'll be putting this toy in the trash. I love other playskool toys so I had high hopes for this one.
