The XUKOKELY Oven Mitts and Potholders 4-Piece Set is a generally positive addition to my kitchen. The set includes extended oven mitts and pan holders, which offer good coverage and protection for daily baking and cooking. Effective for Quick Transfers: The mitts work very well for their primary purpose: safely getting hot items in and out of the oven. The extended length is a great feature, ensuring my forearms are protected from accidental contact with hot racks. Decent Heat Resistance (with a caveat): For quick transfers—grabbing a cookie sheet and setting it on the counter, or pulling a roast out and placing it on the stovetop—they perform admirably. However, I did notice that if you have to hold onto a hot pot or pan for an extended period, you will start to feel the heat transfer through the material after a while. They are best used for brief, decisive movements, not for carrying items over a long distance or holding them for more than a few seconds. Overall, this is a good, functional set for the average home cook. They certainly make my daily oven use safer and more convenient.
