Got this for my chihuahua that loves textured toys and she loves the tortilla chips that are inside the crunchy bag. It keeps her very occupied, may not be the best for large dogs though because of the fabric. The stuffing is crunchy and has a squeaky sound. My two mixed breed dogs love this trash can to play with - it's almost as big as they are. The velcro keeps the lid attached, but it's not too difficult for the boys to remove during play. It has multiple openings and internal chambers to hide other toys and treats for enchantment play. The toy seems durable and the designer had some imagination, including a fish, raccoons, apple core and newspaper for "trash".     • The perfect toy for the right dog, only for the right dog

PROS: Easier for small dogs to squeak or catch, fun to throw for dogs to chase, and relatively safe for throwing in the house. CONS: Dogs that intend to destroy these will have any easy time doing so. My dog (12 lb shih-tzu/pomeranian mix) absolutely loves these. She basically only plays with plush toys that squeak, but her little mouth is too small to squeak most toys on her own. However, with these she figured out that she could make them squeak by pressing them toward the ground. Now she goes crazy over these. When I give her a new one it instantly becomes her favorite toy. If I have to take it away she whines for it and then searches for it. She's never been as obsessed over any of her other favorite toys as she gets with these. ONLY PROBLEM: One of these eggs used to last her quite a while, sometimes many months, and then the squeaker would stop working, probably from punctures. That was a great lifespan for the price. But one day she decided that as fun as these were to play with, they were more fun to destroy. And so she did. And she never forgot. The last 2 that I gave her lasted maybe 30-45 minutes each. I'm keeping it at 5 stars because it's not the toys fault my dog wants to destroy them now, she didn't used to. If I give her a durable toy she wont touch it, she only likes plush. What can you do? CONCLUSION: If your dog is small, attracted to plush toys that squeak and likes to chase them, he/she will probably love these. A larger dog will probably puncture the squeaker faster. And any dog that likes to intentionally tear holes in plush toys and remove the stuffing will have quick success. If you're not sure, just try it. It's cheap enough. ... show more

Pros: My dog went nuts for this toy. He loves the crinkly sound and spent a long time trying to open the bag to get to the squeaky toy chips that come with it and the treat I added inside. Cons: The Velcro that holds the bag closed is too strong, my dog couldn’t open it himself. I opened it a bit and he took over. The outer fabric is not durable and was torn after a day or two. Over all a great toy, just wish it were more durable. He still plays with it even though the outer fabric is tipped. ... show more

My Yorkie absolutely loves these. He just got around to opening all of his Christmas gifts and these he went crazy over. He love getting the toys out of the bag but also loved the bag because it was so crinkly. He played with this the longest of any of his toys. It was the perfect size for him and kept his interest. I love a company that really knows how to make a great dog toy. Since opening this toy that is the only one he wants to play with.     • Disappointing Design & Construction

The van is cute, and my puppy likes playing with the toys inside, but compared to other hide-and-seek puzzle toys I have for my pup, this one is disappointing. First, the toys you hide inside are small (not unusual for these toys), and they only fill up a small fraction of the toy. That might not be an issue, except the van has a lot less rigidity than other hide-and-seek toys. So when my dog steps on it while trying to get at the toys, it almost completely collapses around the toys - making it very difficult to get them out. This is in contrast to Outward Hound's "Hide A Llama" toy, which seems to have thicker fabric and piping along some of the seams that makes it more rigid. I got the two toys around the same time, and my puppy has a lot more fun with the llama barn, because he can actually get to the toys. One thing I don't like about either the van or the llama barn is that they only have one opening to access the toys inside. Other hide-and-seek toys that my pup seems to enjoy more have openings on at least 2 sides. ... show more
