Easy to open and close. I'm 200 lbs, and it holds me, but sometimes feels a little shaky when I get up. The big issue is the padding. When you're using it as a seat, the padding is fine. If you're using it as a kneeler, you're going to find the padding very hard, almost like concrete. You might want to attach some foam to the kneeling side either with glue, zip ties, or velcro. ... show more

I bought this so I could do some gardening but with my cerebral palsy I have a hard time getting back up, with this I just grab hold of both sides and up I go, it is very sturdy and the knee pad is very comfortable and if I get tiered I turn it over for a seat.
