I'm only a couple weeks in, but so far I'm pleased with this greenhouse. There are a couple caveats, but I'll get to those. First: PROS: *Shipped UNBELIEVABLY fast, like "a full 10 days ahead of schedule" fast. *Assembly was a breeze. Metal bars slide into plastic fittings with no problem. From the time I took it from the FedEx guy to the time I had it completely finished was a little under two hours, and that was 1) by myself, 2) being slowed down by my oh-so-helpful toddler, 3) stopping to take pictures of the progress, and 4) wasn't following directions explicitly (see picture of leftovers), which would have sped up the process significantly. Even getting the cover on (which was by far the most...frustrating part) wasn't too bad. You just have to be patient and slowly work it over the frame. Or even better, have a second person and/or a ladder. *It definitely holds heat in the summer. The day I put it together was very mild (high of 78F I believe), and I was POURING sweat by the time I got the cover on. Time will tell if it does as well in the winter. *It's really not too bad to look at, in my opinion. It's currently on my front porch, and I've had more than a couple people compliment me on it. (Your results may vary) CONS: *With my admittedly limited construction/handyman/do-it-yourselfer experience, I don't see a lot of very easy modification. The frame does not fit any box-store PVC fittings (I believe it's all 1/4"), so reinforcing it would probably cost more than you're saving by buying something this cheap. *As others have said, have some zip-ties ready for the shelves, they will not stay on their own. Aside from that, I really don't know that there are any. I mean, assuming you realize what you're buying, you shouldn't be surprised. This isn't a permanent greenhouse, its sole means of ventilation is the roll-up door (whose zipper I am hesitant to use until I have to this winter), and without aftermarket modification or very carefully selected placement, it probably wouldn't take a whole lot of snowload or wind shear to tear this thing apart. Granted, neither of those has happened to me, but I can see the potential. But hey, if I can get through at least one Arkansas summer and winter without losing plants or fish, I'll be pleased. After that, I can buy something a little nicer. I will do my best to update this review with any major news.

I ordered this at the end of Winter 2013. Package arrived on time. I got it all set up in the afternoon put several trays of newly started pots on the lower shelves and went out a few hours later to check on everything and it fell apart due to a couple of the plastic connectors not made well I suppose. I contacted the seller and sent photos of the damage. They ended up replacing the whole thing. I got the replacement pretty quickly. I got it set up again and this one has been great. I will say DO NOT waste your time with the pathetic stakes that come with it! Either buy tent stakes that can grab the ground and hold or use fence posts as the ones that come with it just pull right out of the ground! I ended up driving four 7’ metal t-posts into the ground (one on each corner) and tied it down low on the posts. I also crossed a small rope over the top down to the posts to help make sure the wind can’t move it. I live where we do get a reasonable amount of wind and I just didn't want to see it upside down in the field. I used it all the way up through July with weeks of 100+ degree weather and even with the door up it can get very hot in there in direct sunlight (at one point the thermometer said over 130) so I would end up having to untie and pull the cover up on the sides. I used plastic jugs filled with water to help keep it warmer on the cold nights in the spring. I would open the door in the mornings and leave it open all day while at work unless it was going to be stormy all day. The only issue I had was one of the zippers ended up slipping off one side but luckily it was right before I was going to take it down for the rest of summer and winter. So with getting ready to go into my second spring with it I am deciding to add a new more heavy duty zipper and add a few vents in the side/back of it to help in the severe summer heat. I am also going to get a shade cloth to drape over it for summer. Luckily I am decent with a sewing machine. All in all for the price I paid it has been great. The shelving has been worth the money as it is. The only real issue is the zipper isn’t that great and you have to use better stakes as the ones it comes with are a complete joke!

IF YOU LIVE IN A HIGH WIND AREA DON'T EVEN BOTHER!! This greenhouse was fairly easy to put together, however the material the shell is made of isn't particularly sturdy. One of the zippers broke on the door as we were trying to get the shell closed after placing it over the frame. The bars on the top of the structure that hold the triangular bars together are pretty flimsy. I can work with the broken zipper and find something more stable for the top. Very disappointed in the materials of this green house. We placed this in an area that would not get much wind but even so the wind completely caught the material and twisted the bars....demolished the entire structure even with pots on the shelves for weight. Do Not Waste Your Money. Will never purchase this again.

This is a nice big greenhouse-well sort of--its more like a big shell with some issues that with a little extra work you can transform into a wonderful inexpensive greenhouse. Pro's It is inexpensive and easy to install on a level surface- I built this by myself and the hardest part was putting the cover on. it is spacious and warm the metal poles are sturdy by themselves-I built the side/shelf areas and connected them then had to leave the metal frame by its exposed self outside for 3 weeks.... and the wind didn't blow it over or even budge it. If the cover was on unfinished and unsecured I think it would have been a very different story. Con's 1. The material for the door is too tight and as other reviewers have said the zippers rip out quickly leaving you with an open door greenhouse. ---All it needs is about another 2-3 inches of material on the door flap to make it so you can easily open and close the door and not pull out the stitching. I have had thoughts that perhaps I would add some material to the door like a flap to one side and somehow secure it on the outside-still pondering the possibilities of how to achieve that. It would be difficult to sew something on with a machine leaving it to do by hand. As for now I leave one zipper open and put some cardboard on the inside to cut down the drafts at night to keep the temperature warmer-otherwise it becomes too cold at night (pacific northwest coast). 2.The shelves are light weight and will easily pop off if you don't have the entire structure level and well put together. I zip tied them on. Still I wouldn't trust them to put anything bigger than a gallon pot of something on-best for starts rather than say big tomato plants..... 3.You need to have a level base to build it on. I had an uneven slightly sloping area and so I built it up on one side using bricks and sand as I couldn't go lower on the other side. However since there is no "floor" to this structure other than the ground this left me with openings along the entire ground level edge of the greenhouse which could be problematic in a few ways. A. cold air coming from the bottom is likely to hover close to my plants and keep them cold not hot defeating the purpose of a green house in the first place. B. it gives the wind extra opportunity to pick the whole thing up and fly it across the yard. It would be nice if there were loops at the base of the cover to secure it to the ground which would help resolve gaps at the bottom. I just used mounds of dirt to create a barrier-hoping it will work long term. still the edges kind of flap up in the wind, 4.Previous reviewers are absolutely right-- the stakes that come with this are relatively worthless. I used some sturdy metal rods and put them in the ground and zip tied them to the interior frame. Otherwise I fear it would be a very expensive kite with a disastrous flight plan. Really for the price it is a totally workable solution for my greenhouse needs.

I love this greenhouse, it comes with the shelves, which is terrific since it makes the greenhouse usable right from the start. The shelves also make the greenhouse very sturdy, the shelves are part of the framework. There is also plenty of room in the middle of the greenhouse for plants to sit on the floor or to put a work table. The front door is large and rolls up out of the way when working in getting plants in and out of the greenhouse, there is also a door with netting when you need air, but don’t want the plants exposed to insects. All in all this is a great greenhouse. The customer service from the company is excellent. They responded right away when I contacted them about a missing part and took care of it without question. The greenhouse was extremely easy to put together I did it by myself and it took no time at all. I put ours on a sunny deck so I was able to secure it with metal clamps that I already had. I’m gald I spent a little extra money and got the one with shelves, I was able to use it right away without spending extra money and figuring out what size shelves I would need.

Not what I wanted. you get what ya pay for. Instructions are crap. 1 piece of paper. There is a lot of parts. trust me it wont be taken all apart at end of season. I'm going to take apart in sections for storage. I was able to do it myself though with no help. Start with the lower parts and work your way up. Separate the A parts. and don't get confused about the c's. It stands by itself. I used a hammer to tap all the parts tight. I saw some reviews that said if you don't, the cover wont fit. This is true. However ,even after that there was hardly any flap on the bottom like the pic. That doesn't leave much to weigh it down. So I will tuck what's there and weigh down the frame inside. While putting on the cover, one corner ripped. It's thin so be careful. I will have to contact seller about this or just use gorilla duct tape. I bought the wrong one. I thought this had vent windows. Not sure how it's going to do in spring when I use it to start plants. The hold down stakes are small. Plan on getting larger ones before you start. There are only 4 spots for straps to secure the cover to the frame. I would have paid a bit more for a thicker cover with more securing straps. It does have a good pitch to the roof. I am going to put a heater inside to keep my tropical plants alive. that's the reason I got this anyway. sick of spending $ every year for them. I'm trying this to experiment. Hope this helps.

I picked this greenhouse because it would fit perfect between the house and the fence. If we have a storm, it should be secure in that space. I have not put spikes or stones down to secure yet, but I will before we have a storm. Very roomy inside. The shelves are very flimsy, but once I zipped tied them together, they stayed right in place. I love that. It has a separate mesh door so that I could work inside and not be overcome with the heat. I’ve only just started growing my plants so once , everything is more developed. I’ll post another picture. It took my husband deny just about an hour to put it together. The only time you really need two people is when you start working on the top of the greenhouse and cover.

I ordered this greenhouse because I was actually looking for a small shed for yard tools, etc., and this was much much cheaper. It fits perfectly behind my garage and away from street view so I love it! It came with all parts, even a few extra pieces. The directions I found were just a little wonky. There are so many end pieces that are constructed differently and I couldnt tell in some of the pictures which direction they faced so through trial and error it took me about 3 1/2 hours to assemble. No help. The most difficult part for a single person was putting the actual tent material on top. I had to have a ladder and push and pull. Overall I'm satisfied! It comes with green string that's likely meant to anchor it down on the sides but I cut it into smaller pieces and used it to tie the corners of the shelves down on each end because they easily fall off if not secure. Our area had 3-4 days of rain in a row and surprisingly nothing was wet inside of the tent. No leakage whatsoever. Very satisfied with my purchase and happy to give my garage a little more free room. Also makes it easier to find exactly what I need.
