Of course the greenhouse took a little time to put together.i purchased the 6 X 8 model! It took husband and I about a week to fully build. The instructions are vague but it wasn't too awfully bad. There were a few steps I believe left out but nothing you couldn't go back and add a screw here or there! We built a wooden floor and concentrated around the holes where we put the anchors in! Siliconed some of the seems and top and we have no leaks! Moved all my babies in there for the winter and they love it! Not to mention I love the automatic vent openers! I completely 100% happy! Also, my box was missing a rain gutter, Aosom's customer service was amazing! Sent my replacement parts out in no time! I actually got to speak with a real person too! Not a machine! Overall I'm completely satisfied with the quality of my product and the fair price I paid for it! Being on a budget I did alot of shopping around and comparing prices.

After finishing assembly, I am pleased with the purchase. As mentioned in the reviews, the assembly instructions and process are very difficult to follow. The assembly design required preloading the rails with some of the fasteners. Early on I missed this on a few of the rails. A design feature to allow the fasteners to be inserted was required to prevent disassembling to add the missed steps. It was an easy resolve which the manufacture could easily add to the design and reduce the preload requirement. I just drilled a small entry hole in the rail slots to allow the bolt heads to enter the slot ( the last photo). If this was in the rails from the start you could load the fasteners as you need them. It did take 2 6 hour days by myself to assemble. I don’t believe it will fail in weather. Nice sturdy green house.

Allow me to preface this review by stating that I have an engineering degree.... and it did not help! I purchased the 6' x 6' model with the Temperature Controlled Window 'upgrade.' The instructions for assembly are relatively easy to understand if, and only if, you're used to dealing with schematics for a living. However there are several instances where the instructions neglect to tell you to add the proper number of bolts into the aluminum frame slide tracks. This leads to quite a bit of frustration when you get to a later step and discover you have to disassemble a section of the framework to go back and add the aforementioned bolts. Most glaringly missing, however, are any mention or instruction on the assembly of the automatic window openers. The assembly instructions are all for the manual open version. This is probably because the automatic openers are a 3rd party "universal kit" made by VentMate called 'VentGuard.' This automatic kit does not fit the greenhouse as-is. You have to drill out the pop rivets holding in the bracket for the manual open hardware in order to mount the swing arm to the window. The bottom plate, at least, can be bolted into the existing framework.

This has been a horrible - horrific experience that never seems to end. Defective parts, missing parts, and the most awful directions!!!! A week later and we still haven’t assembled it! And we have been working non stop at it sometimes for 9 hours a day!!! We are exhausted and worn out in every way possible - mentally and physically! Do not buy this green house! So far it is not sturdy ! We have been through hell with it all. We want a full refund! The parts are useless and missing! Please don’t purchase this! I’m not one to write a negative review, but I’m warning you all! You will be so sorry if you buy this item...I know we are :(((

Mostly the instructions are drawings that are small and not easily understood. Do not miss anything or you will be taking it apart. I had to drill into the channels because I didn't put enough bolts in to start with and didn't want to leave the supports off. There were a couple pieces missing and I contacted the seller. I received the parts quickly with no problems. Keep your paperwork as it may be useful later. I mounted my greenhouse on treated 4X4's and it is very sturdy. I wanted to build the structure without putting in the panels until the last to keep the wind from blowing it down. You can't do that. You have to follow the directions.

As others have mentioned, this was a bear to put together. Now that it is together, I think I’m really going to love it. It’s not a high-end greenhouse, but I think it’s good value for money. Just don’t expect to put this together alone or over a weekend. The instructions are almost all in pictures only, and very important details are shown in tiny, easy to overlook images. It’s very easy to miss steps, and then have to go back and do them later. Also, some of the area around screws are very tight, and hands, let alone tools, don’t always fit well. Really though, now that the pain is over, I can’t wait to put pvc pipes on for catching water (it has gutter attachments for this purpose), add lights, solar fans, shelving . . .

Still trying to get it assembled. Poor directions. The item came in 2 boxes and was badly damaged during transit due to it was boxed it light weight cardboard. The corner of the boxes were tore open and the screws, washers, nuts were all free floating inside and leaking out the box. Several of the aluminum parts were bent Making assembly more difficult. I would have sent it back but it took a long time to be delivered. I ordered this one initially because it had a reasonable price and was tall enough for my 6’3” tall husband to go inside without crouching. The idea of this unit is good, it has tall aluminum around base and the panels are thick enough but I would not order this one again if I had to do it all over.
