I've been using this mascara since November of 2022, and this is one of the few products that actually holds up my lashes after I curl them. While my lashes look fantastic, and I don't experience much flaking or smudging throughout the day, this product is such a chore to remove. I have to go in with 2 eye makeup removers, along with my face wash (CeraVe), and I still have bits and pieces of the mascara stuck to my lashes. Keep in mind, I am very gentle with the removal process and take my time, to make sure I get everything off, but to no avail. I inevitably always lose a few eyelashes because of the painstaking removal. I'm also not sure if it's the tube I received, or the nature of the mascara itself, but there's a very sticky and tacky feel to them, and some days you sense and feel it more than others, which can cause some uncomfortableness (just that constant sensation of your lashes feeling sticky and the upper and lower lashes getting stuck on one another now and then). Overall, I was initially blown away and loved this mascara – and I still think it's great for any straight lashed gal out there – but over time I've become less enthusiastic about this product. The removal process alone is really what's giving me second thoughts on repurchasing, along with the strange tacky feeling. I'd sooner go back to the Heroine Mascara (the original/regular waterproof one, not super, etc.) because that's just as good and comes off much more easily. However, I'm willing to give a second tube of this mascara a shot, and will update my review then. Extra Info: I'm mixed - half Korean and half Caucasian, but inherited stick straight lashes that need to be curled before applying. As other reviews mentioned, this is great for East Asian eyes, but also for anyone who struggles with straight lashes and wanting that curl to hold.

This has been my go-to mascara for a while. I love the skinny, curved brush which makes it easy to apply and get to the smaller lashes near my inner-eye as well as add extra coats to the lashes at the outer corners for a more winged look. It barely flakes (unless you rub your eyes, of course) and it removes easily with coconut oil (which I use as makeup remover). I’ve tried the other Cleo Kill mascaras but this is my personal fav because of the brush style. Highly recommend.

I have oily, sensitive eyes. Regular eyeliners smudge and dissappear very quickly. I esed to use Marathon waterproof mascara to line my eyes for like, 20 years til they stopped making it. I have tried every long-wear waterproof eyeliner and mascara that there is...they either smudge or make my eyes water, washing it away. This Lash Kill is the stuff!! No watery eyes and lasts all day! Cry-proof, nap-proof, and washes off easy with soap. So happy! I'm stocking up!

This mascara is 10/10 for me because: -the mascara doesn’t budge with my greasy lids. -holds my pin straight lashes until I take it off with my micellar remover. -lightweight on my lashes. -elongates my short lashes and almost looks like false lashes with the fibers that are in the product. -unscented! -mascara doesn’t flake or give raccoon eyes. -separates lashes but you’ll have to work a bit quick because it dries fast. Good for “in a rush times”. I want to mention that this mascara is for long separated lashes NOT for volume. However, when I add a few coats on top before it fully dries it does give a good volume look without looking like thick spider legs. Sometimes I brush 1 layer after it dries to give a thicker look. You could add a volume mascara after but before the mascara dries. A side note: lot of reviewers are saying the mascara is very hard to remove and yes that’s true but I have found that the remover in my picture is a great solution for it. I use a cotton pad and even lightly layered toilet paper to remove my mascara with the remover product. I shake my micellar water to mix the product than pour a little onto the cotton pad or layered toilet paper and let it sit on my lashes for 15-30 secs and than gently wipe. Hope that helps!

I was really excited to try the CLIO Kill Lash mascara because I love CLIO’s other products. The delivery and packaging was great, I had no problem with any of that. When I actually used the product it was great. It lifted my eyelashes without me curling it before (I did not try curling my eyelashes before but I’m sure it would still look amazing). So the product itself was great and worked like the description says. The reason I give it a three stars though is because it is hard to get off. I have only used it twice and even though I like how it looks I will not be using it again because of the removing process. It really is super proof and it protected a little too well.😅 It took a few minutes to get just most of the mascara off with my makeup cleaner (Garnier micellar cleaning water for waterproof mascara) and it only took off some of the mascara. Even after my shower and scrubbing my face with facial cleanser (Cetaphil) there was still mascara. In the end I am deciding not to use the product anymore. I’m worried it could damage my eyelashes if I use it too much and have to repeatedly be harsher on my eyelashes just for removal. I read other reviews after I bought the product (I know… I should’ve done it before 🤦♀️) and people were saying how hard it was to take off and some people said they were losing a few eyelashes during the removal process.😬 ‼️LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES AND READ REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING!!‼️ I’m really sad I did not like this product as much as I had hoped I would.😔 However, I really love CLIO’s other products and will still buy their other products just not the mascara.😊
