The trap was a challenge because we are not tall so we stretched it out and tied rope to each end and pulled it over. I was just needing a storage building for the mower and stuff to get it out of the garage and give me a little room. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews prior to purchase and once it arrives its a pain in the rear to return so I decided to live with it. First I should say I am an engineer and have design built hospitals for 3 decades and very mechanical minded. The metal supports are so thin they can not even hold up to tighten with a screw driver. No washers included, the metal stakes supplied are about1/16 " and 4 inches long like you find on Christmas inflatables. The way this came it would not survive even a modest breeze. I challenged myself to make this work no matter how much it costs. I started by purchasing (4) 4x4 treated posts and screwed the base supports to the posts. This added a little weight and gave the canopy a better support. I then purchased (12) 16 inch long auger stakes and screwed them into the ground. Then I purchased (12) ratchet straps and connected half to lower railing and half to up roof supports and then down to the auger stakes and tighten firm but not to strong the metal is so weak it will bend. I then added washers to all of the bolts to keep the bolt head and the nut from pulling through the weak metal supports. I had a couple of the supplied ball bungee cords break during install so I ordered 30 heavy duty ball bungee cords that I will use to secure the front and back of the tent to the frame. I may ended up adding a few more grommets but I hate to chance make the material weaker. Last problem is the cover is probably 2-3 inches to short and you have to stretch beyond what you would ever want too. This too will damage the tensile strength of the canopy so beware of that. All together I think I spent about $225 to fix my $240 canopy but I still doubt it will survive very long. Be Safe and remember if this things goes flying across your yard and hits something or someone you can be liable.

This carport is good as a temporary solution, but not a permanent one where we are. After reading the other reviews we put extra tarping over and extra tie downs because we are in the mountains and have slightly more severe winter conditions. It is holding its own so far, but it is not handling the weight of snow on it very well. We have to be vigilant at keeping it clear of snow and ice. The size was decent inside, and it does actually keep the wind and weather off of the equipment well. It is next to impossible for 1 person to set this up, and one of the plastic clips for tying up the door has broken already, but the zippers are holding up so far and the metal poles have remained sturdy. Overall, this is a good piece of equipment for the price.

Probably the most terrible instructions possible. does not go together easily like the larger tubes with spring loaded buttons. The hold down stakes are cheap, small and pretty much worthless. The loose fitting tubes leave too much room for motion causing bends. Ours lasted about a week adn the first windy day ot blew over and was destroyed. It also caused plenty of damage to our car. Im going to have to chop it up and throw it away! Wasted the money and time!!! one star beause there is othing lower to choose from!!
