  • I paid $239.99 and it’s worth a lot more
I paid $239.99 and it’s worth a lot more If you have trouble assembling this product it’s not the instructions fault. The instructions are legit ALL pictures with specific breakdowns of each step WITH detailed blow-apart sections that even catalog how many of each screw you need. I have a sneaking suspicion that the guy who said his shed leaked didn’t put the panels on right since it’s almost impossible for water to get in unless you didn’t put the panels on in the correct order leading to water being able to rush in. If you use common sense this shed is hands down the best value for your money if you’re looking for a 8x6 shed. Currently I have a 8x10 and now this 8x6 and construction on the $700 shed vs this $239 she’s is almost identical. Tips for success : use a platform base and screw the shed down. I opted to drill 3 holes on each side in addition to the 4 corner holes I assume you anchor it down to from the factory. The shed is sturdy , not flimsy. Idk if people are unfamiliar with sheet metal sheds but for what they are they’re great. I wouldn’t drop a cow on it but if you’re holding some lawn equipment and some hand tools you found your shed. Here’s a gang of pics for you. Wasn’t sure if I’d like the fold out doors but the built in lock and the locking pins on the door is awesome ! A side note peeling the plastic off was tedious but wouldn’t you prefer that vs scratched panels ? Do it BEFORE you start assembling and you’re good to go ... show more

  • Withstood a tornado
It's a good budget shed. I will say that it's slightly smaller than advertised but still big enough to fit two adult bikes, a ladder, a lawn mower, and garden tools with standing room. It's a bit tricky to build but if you're sorta handy, and have a friend, it takes about a day to build. I would deffinately recommend building a good, level, foundation, otherwise the holes won't line up perfect. We also had a small EF1 tornado go through our back yard. Nothing crazy but it did stand up to that. ... show more

  • Love it - works great
I bought this to store my planting tools, pots, etc. It works perfect for my needs. I bought the frame to go with - but found it to be useless (unless you got perfectly flat ground). We used pavers & built a floor & built on that. You will need to plan on sealing bottoms around base etc. as this is NOT 100% water proof-but honestly what building in this price point is. It takes some time to put together, but me & my husband did it -just us. I'm thrilled with the purchase, looks good & now all my stuff is in one spot & not cluttering my garage. ... show more

  • No customer support, poor instructions
Do not buy from this seller! The product didn't come with all the instructions to build the shed. When I contacted them for the instructions, they sent me the wrong ones. There is a image in the instruction booklet that says they have a help center, but there is absolutely no contact info such as a phone number, website, QR code. NOTHING! Which is also indicative if how the instructions are written...incomplete! ... show more

  • Amazinng!
First, the sturdiness was something I was worried about when I read the reviews. However after following the instructions, and getting it together, I can say, this thing is sturdy. Its being converted into a chicken coop, will be adding windows. And I have no worries about the structure once the windows are cut into the metal. I paired this with a run I also ordered on Amazon, and they sit together perfectly, almost like they're made for each other. Anyone looking for a nice size shed, for chicken coops, or just a backyard shed, this is perfect. It took about 4 days, mainly because we were fighting with work schedules, rain, and darkness, but when it was daylight. It was very quick and easy to assemble. Its definitely a good idea to have atleast 1 or 2 people available to help, especially once you start getting to the point of putting the walls up. Other than that, its perfect. ... show more

  • Not an easy build. Holes don't match screws strip out. but it is strong.
If I bought this again I would just build a wood frame and add the metal. Its cheap enough its worth messing around whit and improving. I have carpentry and sheet sheet metal experience. I built this on a level deck with 3/4" plywood floor. The base was easy enough and adding the walls went fast. We checked everything for square. I was unable to line up the roof panel holes. So we offset the entire roof so to one side so it would fit well then upgraded to real metal roofing screws and made our own holes. It will work but it is not centered to the base. The shed comes with 300+ screws and we added another 100. I used wood blocks inside with 2" screws to really add some structure. We added a lot of screws to the door supports also as they would easily sag over time. I will be upgrading the hinge screws also. I left all the plastic on the panels because its not for show. For some reason my doors don't fit. (I'm assuming an issue with the base trim size because the roof didn't fit?)They are a 1/2" to big. (Did I build it a 1/2" small? How?) I'm just going to trim the sheet metal and off the wall and it won't be an issue. We used self tapping screws all around the base trim, about 5 per side. I'm about 10 hours on the build not including the deck. Three stars for effort and being strong enough to last. ... show more

  • Good Value and does the job
I built the shed all by myself it can easily be done, but 2 people would be more helpful. and had only 1 minor issues. I had it delivered in Oct, but put it together in Jan, so I was outside my return period. But when I put the roof on, because of slight damage in the shipping(bent) I had the last hole not line up. no problem,, just drilled a new one. If you are expected a heavy duty shed this is not it, this is something that will last in fl (due to rain/humidity/wind) may 5 years. It is thin and the screw fasteners are of low quality, so i do expect some corrosion over time. so we shall see if it makes it that long. ... show more
