I’m not a big review leaver, but this thing has made the world of a difference for my senior cat. The first one I received didn’t work. Company sent me a new one and we haven’t had one issue since. My old baby is scrawny and is cold all of the time, especially in the summer with our A/C on. He gets on his pad and is purring within seconds and taking a nap. Not too hot for your kitties- but I am super impressed with the heat this thing puts out the higher you increase the temperature setting. Would be amazing for pets outside during the winter.

Got this for an outdoor cat. Put it in igloo dog house that I insulated and had made a plastic door for the large opening. It’s a good size for a large cat. I like the extra cord protection. I left it on 24/7 during the winter and it continues to work fine. It was enough heat in the small house until the temp dropped into the 30’s. I then added a flat screen heater and with the combination of the two the little house stayed comfortably warm.

My outdoor/stray cat has been around for over eight years. 4 to 5 years ago I bought him an outdoor house and heated it with a different brand of heating pad. This year I wanted to upgrade it to a nicer, warmer, new heating pad. Over the last month or two, he loved it. When the colder weather hit, he stayed in the heated house throughout the night and most of the days. Now that the temperature is well below freezing, the heating pad shuts down and goes into error mode. For the last three days in a row with single digit temperatures and a negative windchill, I find the heating pad off with the Err code on the display. I even tried lower heat levels with negative results to see if that would prevent it from shutting down. If you use this brand, I would recommend having a Styrofoam box with straw and or another heat pad as a back up.

I first ordered one that warmed to their body temperature, not so good in zero degree weather. This one is great. I have it in his insulated house. You can set it at different degrees and length of time. I did learn not to set it too high because he's in the house with only the small door to get in and out, no circulation of the air good. So even with the zero degrees we'll be at tonight I'll set it on 4 and I put it on 12hrs because we'll be at single digits for two days. I'll shut it in the morning for about an hour just to rest it, you probably don't have to, then I'll set it back to 4 and 24 hrs. He loves it and I'm not concerned with him not being protected. Good product.

Had a feral cat show up at the house. Felt sorry for it and started feeding it. Took her a couple of weeks to ease up around us but now she’s right at home. Made her a house on the back porch and put this heated pad in it to keep her warm through the winter. Heats up nice and she loves it. Like the multiple settings so I can adjust according to the temperature

After several months of use the control panel kept showing an Error message. I reached out to customer service and they asked for a photo and video of the problem. Next thing I knew they emailed me and told me a replacement pad was on the way. They communicated the entire time ensuring I knew when the new item was shipped and then checked to make sure we received it. So far the pad is working great. I greatly appreciate their attentiveness and doing the right thing when so many companies these days just don't care. Update: The new pad started showing the error message one month after we received it and is still happening. At this point I'm going to have to find another brand to use.

We leave our garage open just enough for cats to get in. There’s 3 that frequent our garage and we leave food and water for them but the temps got quite terrible this year with a few at -30°, and I didn’t want to find a dead cat in the garage so besides the heater, which often shuts off when temps get too cold, I got this. I’ve kept it on for basically 2 weeks straight and the cats love it.
