The media could not be loaded. I actually really like this cat house. It was super easy to put together and feels pretty sturdy, not cheap at all. My cat got into it right away. It did have a slight smell at first, but it goes away with time. Overall, I’m really happy with it

This indoor/outdoor cat house is amazing, from the quality of the wood to the roof it is well put together and all the pieces fit just right. It took about an hour, hour and a half to assemble and the directions were pretty straightforward. I can see it being an excellent choice for outdoors, but we are currently using it inside and working on making it a little kitty mansion, we added some motion lights and are still currently working on this project. Our cat has been very curious but didn’t like the doorways so we removed them and also added some peel and stick carpet to the inside. If we were to ever put this outside for the strays which might happen someday in the future I can see this holding up to the weather as the roof has a strong roofing paper on it and the wood seems exterior grade, we can add the flaps back on the doors at any time to keep the cats more insulated and safe plus the bottom has two ways in or out. The top has only one but both sections are pretty cozy. The back part of the roof lifts up for easy access to clean or add food and whatnot. Not only is this house durable but it’s very nice looking and I really like the layout. ... show more

This wooden two‑story cat house works well both indoors and outside. The instructions were straightforward, so assembly was simple. Once built, it has a charming look—almost like a miniature cottage. The asphalt roof feels solid and durable, and my cats especially love lounging on the upper porch. If you plan to place it outdoors, keep in mind that the assembled house is fairly large (29 x 30 x 31.5 inches, about 44 pounds), so it may be easier to put it together outside if your doorway is narrow. The rubber feet on the bottom help keep the base out of standing water, and you can elevate it further with bricks if needed. Inside, there’s an option to block access to the second level, which is helpful if your cats prefer their own space. The structure is made from fir wood, and adding a protective sealant could help extend its life. Both entry points include removable plastic flaps to help shield the interior from the weather. ... show more
