I bought this as a tick proof option because the south has a deadly disease called Bob Cat Fever which can take a cats life within a few days. After her near death, we got this & stapled screens to it. Built it on a board to reinforce, it’s actually a bit wobbly otherwise but easy fix with the right handyman. We laid out astroturf and a rock garden of cat nip haha- another tick repellent.The plastic windows are cheap, I would have preferred the caging method like the rest of the set up. They did spray all the wood in cedar oil which is a big repellents, so that was cool. It’s a decent size- I can even fit in the cage and lay down I probably sound cat crazy but if you’re buying a catio you’re are too 😂 ... show more

I did not follow the recommendations and did not buy a drill or get someone to help me. It took me 2-3hrs to put together alone but that’s on me. The wood is very soft though and easy to screw into, even with a screw driver. My hands are incredibly sore but the instructions were clear and easy to understand. Plus, it really is a very large enclosure. The only downside? Putting in the last wall panel before the roof. That was incredibly difficult to line up alone but I did it after struggling a bit. Do yourself a favor, get someone to help you, and buy a drill. ... show more

This catio was very easy to put together but you will need two people. The instructions were awesome and everything seems to be built very well. We could not be happier. We'll worth the money spent

This is a nice Catio, however it is to wobbly without a bottom to secure to... I would suggest going somewhere after taking dimension and putting one in

    • Nice design plan
The instructions could have been more user friendly … it is not as sturdy and I would prefer … I would give it a C+/ B- for sturdiness. The one major weak spot …especially if your pet weights more than six pounds … the one small ledge shelf that is near the the space that the plastic strips on the opening …started coming apart when our pet used it a few times … one pet is six pounds the other is about 14 pounds … it didn’t stay attached well enough for the use of the 14 pound pet. We had to add longer and more screws to the piece …and screwed it into other parts of the unit. Other than that we like it pretty well I wish they could sell the design with a list of more heavy duty materials… I also wish they had a way to perhaps put more than one unit together so you could increase the overall area of your enclosure… ... show more
