After about a week of hanging they had caught about twice the amount of flies that the cheaper brand caught in twice the time. The scent is very bad, but that is why the flies are attracted to them. The media could not be loaded. The fly trap is highly effective, significantly reducing the number of flies in just a few days. It's easy to set up and maintain, and it attracts flies well, trapping them securely. The main drawback is its appearance when full. The sight of accumulated flies can be quite gross, so I recommend placing it in a less visible area. Despite this, it's a cost-effective solution for fly problems and works as promised. If you can overlook its appearance when full, it's a great buy.

If youre desperate to get rid of flies i recommend, i have been killing hundreds of flies with these... i didnt do much research so this may be well known but these traps STINK they smell so so bad. The quality is great. Its easy to set up, and it starts working in a day or two but good lord does it stink. I WOULD NOT GET IT FOR INDOORS. I have mine outside and they stink bad

Product works incredible. Caught like a thousand flies in a few days. However. The wind got real strong and its flimsy breadtie style holder snapped and it fell to the ground and spilled everywhere. Smelled like death. Like horrible, ungodly death smell in my backyard for about a week. So whatever you do, make sure this thing is securely hanging on to whatever you affix it to😂 Used the other one and had it in a safer spot out of the wind, and it was fine. But just a heads up!

First bag blew all over my patio as I was walking to my fly trap hooks & that stench was gag worthy & of course my dogs got that smell everywhere, because naturally they were outside. Then the second one...it was fine until it touched the plastic bag I was putting it into to take to the garbage....it blew apart IN the bag & dripped all over as I'm running to find something to catch the liquid with - found a flower pot, dropped bag in it & took it all to the garbage can for pick up tomorrow - going to have to wash the garbage bin out. For now gotta clean my patio, bathe myself & my dogs. I've used a different brand for years....suffice to say I will be going back to my "old" brand - never any issues! UGH!

After hanging, I noticed it was working immediately. After having it up for a week, there are so many flies in there it's unreal! You can see the dark section in the middle of the bag is a layer of flies that have succomb to the bag. I knew our fly issue was bad, but I didn't realize how bad of a problem we had here until I put this up. It does have a bit of a smell, but you only notice it, when you're right up on it. I just wish these were a little cheaper. I'm guessing it's under 50 cents to manufacture so $5 a piece is steep.

The traps do in fact trap flys and do a great job of doing it. I do however think that the bait that is used attracts even more flys than I originally had. Possibly making the situation worse.
