I am very disappointed with how Amazon treats customers and then tries to hide behind emails that are automated and not sent out on purpose. I tried to do some remodeling here and unfortunately did a lot of returning as things did not meet exactly my expectation. Neither does this however I’m past my window so I’m stuck. This is a really nice fixture, I love the style of it. The glass panels have tiny bubbles in them that refract the light when the lights are on, and makes it look a little brighter. The metal appears to be powder coated so it should weather the elements well. The package does include the required hardware to install it, you get a mounting plate, 3 wire nuts and screws to mount the mounting plate. You will need your own screwdriver though. Installation was relatively simple. There are only 3 wires to attach, a ground, neutral, and a hot. If you are going to attempt to install this yourself make sure your main breaker is turned OFF before you start the installation. Better still, have a qualified electrician install it for you. The only hiccup I encountered during the installation was that It was a bit fiddly to align the main mounting bracket with the holes on the light. One tip I would say is make sure the long silver screws rotate somewhat freely before you put it all together. That way when you attach the plate that has the bulbs on it, you can keep twisting the brown nuts so that the plate is flush with the ceiling. I left the light settings on auto and turned the switch on and it works quite nicely. My only complaint about the light is that you cannot turn off the motion sensitivity, and even on its lowest setting it keeps turning on randomly when no one is near it.
