I love this ring. I tried the Whoop Band for a bit and found it not comfortable enough for 24/7 wearing. The Oura Ring, though? Honestly, by the end of the first day, I got used to it. If you've ever worn a cheap, simple ring, this is about equally as thick. The titanium is nice, though. Feels very sturdy and I've already gotten compliments about the way the light shines against it. Now let's talk about the smartness. 2 days ago, it warned me that I might be getting sick. Today, I woke up with a cold and Oura was like, hey! Seems like you're sick. You should probably turn on rest mode! Now that's some wizardry. The Oura Advisor (currently under Oura Labs) is also freaky helpful. I even asked it if it was weird that this AI felt like a second therapist for me and it gave a thoughtful, insightful answer! I was pretty blown away. Especially as it supported my use of other help apps, as compared to simply telling me to do everything through Oura. Selfless, like a proper advisor should be. It also charged super fast. I've only taken it off for showers and that has been more than enough to keep it consistently above 50%. The other thing I liked over the Whoop is that the app is very simple and hands off. The whoop was very hands on and complicated. It felt like work to under how my body was doing, whereas Oura just gives it to you straight and doesn't ask much of you, which is much prefer.     • Why I returned my Oura Ring 4
Receiving and opening the Oura Ring 4 is an exciting experience. Packaging beautiful presentation with the new ring on a size exact charger or starts. Box does not waste paper on excessive paper. No waste or excess here. Initial setup is a breeze. The IOS app works first time no fuss. Ring is well made, beautifully crafted. It does fit snug if you use the size kit first and order the recommended size. After wearing the ring for 3 weeks the honeymoon ends. The overprice apps does collect your data and provide an evaluation based on a number of specifics metrics. However for a continuing monthly or yearly fee you really want more. Compared to my Apple Watch 9 and the iOS included Health App there is just no additional or little added information to display. On the plus side the Oura 4 does run 5 to 7 days on a charge. Apple watch is a recharge daily. If one accepts the fact a Oura Ring is not repairable once the battery is dead and the company treats her owners a source of auto renewable revenue, and Oura may be a good choice for you. Ring does not even last a year. It can no longer stay connected to the app or stay charged for a full year. Too much to pay for something that won’t last a year! Tried a get a replacement ring since it is still covered under warranty and Customer Service is online and keeps disconnecting (once you get a real person!). WHAT A NIGHTMARE! SCAM! Works well for a few months...then HORRID / Horrid customer service too....DO NOT BUY ... show more

    • Get the sizers first!
I've only had the ring for a few days and so far so good. But I just wanted to give a few tips regarding ordering. Prior to ordering I had tried on the sizers at Costco. I saw that someone recommended to order the sizers online and amazon will give you $10 off the cost of the ring. I HIGHLY recommend doing this. I wore the sizers for a few days before deciding on a size and it was not the size I thought I was from a one time try on at Costco. The ring itself is way more comfortable than the sizers. I was very surprised. It also doesn't bother me when I sleep or exercises. I was worried about pinching my finger with lifting weights. But so far I am very happy with the purchase.     • Great, but not over time. So Disappointed.....
I held off writing a review on this. I absolutely love it and the insights are amazing. I bought my husband one. I recommended for my sister and she got one. I am writing this review at a little more than a month shy of having it one year. It is supposed to stay charged for days, when I got it it would stay charged up for at least a week. I've been noticing the battery life declining, but now it's at the point that it barely lasts a day. I charged to 100% last night, now it is at 50% battery not even halfway through the day. These rings are an investment, they are expensive! Having to charge it every day means it's not even getting metrics for a full 24 hours. I'm so disappointed, so I have gone from a HUGE fan to someone who feels like they were sold something that doesn't last so I will need to purchase another one. Fortunately in a year many other options have come out that are less expensive, so I will be looking into a different brand now. I was excited for the new styles that came out in the Oura, but I don't see myself purchasing another one at this point in time. ... show more

    • Good sleep tracking but poor battery and support
The Oura ring does a pretty good job with sleep tracking, which is the primary reason that I purchased it. It does NOT get the battery life they advertise. I'm getting about 5 days on a charge. I reached out to their customer support and have never received a response.

De las mejores compras que he hecho. La bateria dura mas de una semana tal y como el producto promete, es bastante real con las mediciones que tenia de las demas apps que utilizaba anteriormente. No me parece tan funcional que luego de hacer esta compra con un monto tan importante tambien haya que pagar un app, pero igual entiendo que para dar el correcto seguimiento pues lo vale. De igual manera para tener un seguimiento mas especifico del ciclo menstrual se debe pagar una app llamada natural cycles que es bastante costosa (20 dol mensuales) ya que el seguimiento que da el anillo por si solo no es suficiente. Igual me parece que es de las mejores compras que he hecho para monitorear mi salud, pero siento que es importante que las personas sepan esto antes de adquirirlo. ... show more
