I've had a surprisingly good experience with the lavender oil - I didn't like it much when I received it, and felt it smelled too "soapy" - like good for making soap, but I wanted to make a lavender candle that smelled a little more earthy. Well, I used it to make some candles anyway, and I'm burning one now, and not only does it smell amazing, but the hot throw is really good. When I went to pick my order up at the hub station I could Snee the rise scent Got it home and opened the package and found out why I could smell it, the bottle was broken inside the package so can’t write a review cause it was empty I can only say the rose smell was great just what I was looking for unfortunately I don’t know how good it would of been in my candle making. ... show more

I find that Rose is one of the hardest scents to get longevity out of and also get even an initial strong scent. The scent is strong coming out of the bottle and its longevity is about on PAR with other rose scents (ie.. Doesn't last too long). However, I do highly recommend this as it is the best scent value. I purchased the rose scent for a candle I was making and was not disappointed. The person I gave it to was satisfied with the cold and hot throw. I hope in the future they get bigger bottles than 2oz. Thank you for a great product.

Do not use in cold process soap!! It seized my batch in under 30 seconds and I added it at very thin trace! I was able to salvage the batch by throwing my container in a bath of boiling water and slowly melting like rebatch, but it’s been 48 and the scent is also gone.
