I like this oil for detangling and it doesn't way the hair down, however it doesn't exactly hydrate the hair. I personally like the smell but I know some other's don't. Its lightweight. It did not weight down my fine hair or make my hair greasy. I applied one pump to my damp hair after washing and it really helped with detangling. After blowing drying, my hair felt soft and was less frizzy than if I didn’t use any products. I applied another pump after my hair was completely dry to smooth it out and my hair still felt clean. I bought this because the Ouai site said it was scented after a specific perfume and I wanted to test the scent before buying the perfume.
